Haha, I read this response from my inbox and had assumed it was to my sarcastic comment about wiring up OP. But yeah I understand, it takes a while when first learning to roll with jokes at your expense with self deprecating humor and I figured you were just offering to give him one on one advice

Knowing one girl who's done this to a match, her reason was for not going on a date after so few messages was she felt like a hookup was implied and that wasn't what she wanted.

I was only on Tinder for a few months and had a couple matches that fizzled like this one after scheduling a date and going to follow up. All the flakes were short conversations like this. I went on 5 first dates and all 5 included 1-3 days of essentially nonstop messages (think small paragraphs every 10-20 minutes). Usually made plans the end of the first day of messaging, but that was dozens of texts in. 4 of the dates I hit it off with, only 1 was a total dud that I had no interest in after 5…
