Very true. I used to work from 4 am til 4 pm every day. When I'd get home I'd fall asleep for like three hours and wake up feeling worse than when I got home apparently due to going into the deep sleep stage and abruptly interrupting it. I would set my alarm for about 30 mins and woke up feeling fully recharged.
