Absolutely not. Marriage, as it is historically known as, is a religious ceremony. What we should do is remove governments role in defining marriage or giving benefits for those married.

this is why marriage is not about "feelings" but about commitment, and oath that was taken in public, or, at the very least, in front of a third party. The vows should make any person gulp.

There is a scene in the movie Peter pan where the mother is telling the children that their father is brave. The daughter scoffs. The mother goes on to explain that bravery is sometimes "putting away your dreams" and sacrificing for your family. This clip is" YouTube: https://youtu.be/IgF00x89s6k

Not too sure what god you worship, for sure as hell, God would not encourage you to be an adulterer. Divorce is better than sacrificing your own morals.

That's where I struggle. I know the only way to be independently wealthy is to have my own practice but im in no way interested in the start up of one. The benefits to owning one's own practice allows for complete independence and complete wealth, this is for sure. However, I would have to hire someone to do all management work since I honestly don't want to devote any time away from treating and curing. Any advice?

It seems that the shirt has the allegory of prudence on it. Other then any allegorical interpretation, why does this represent TRP?

As a man, it's great. I throw out the minority card hard: "is the reason why you don't approve my leave is because you think I should work harder than woman because I'm a man? That's sexist" "Are you asking me to lift that bariatric 400lb woman because I'm a man and swol? That's sexist" "do you not give me a promotion because you think there is a wage gap and that I make more because I'm a man? That's sexist."

As im reading this thread I get it.... I am a registered nurse and I was always told that the culture is hard to get into with the saying "nurses eat their young" It makes perfect sense that these women destroy these new nurses because they are younger, healthier, lively, and excited about their career. Dalrock Tell me more? It was not supposed to be this way What i keep coming back to is the argument that "Jesus gave it all, even his life" and "You are suppose to follow Jesus' example and give up your life and desires for your spouse and serve her and make her needs come before your own." But, on one of my cycling trips it got me thinking: Jesus had an agenda. His agenda was the fix the broken relationship between God and His creation. Jesus' agenda was to be sacrificed. It was the disciples a…

Hi, first time posting, long time lurker. I have tons of questions and clarification but I wanted to state that I watched pride and prejudice with my wife and pointed out that thing: there is no way in hell I would choose that women. Mr Darcy is mr farce`. I call romantic comedies emotional pornography for women. I also lean towards Disney movies to be in the same category for children and refuse to allow mine to watch them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
