Mother circumcises her child, and she regrets nothingOh I’m fine. I’m quite happy with my penis and it’s health is perfectly good. The doctors did a good job and I don’t remember anything. That said I do not condone under any circumstances circumcising your child unless advised by a medical professional that it is necessary for the health of your child. | /r/MensRights | 05/10/19 06:08 PM
Mother circumcises her child, and she regrets nothingOh there are medical reasons. My foreskin was too large for my penis (funny I know) so I had to have it removed when I was a baby (urine was building up in the foreskin, high chance of infection etc.) but if there aren’t any extenuating circumstances, DON’T CIRCUMCISE YOUR CHILD. | /r/MensRights | 05/10/19 11:39 AM
Actress Jameela Jamil criticises Avon for ads "shaming women". Company immediately apologises and pulls ads. | Compare this reaction to Gillette's willingness to shame men in advertising despite a far bigger backlash.May I please use the insult snarky dingleberry in the future? I won’t credit you but it’s an absolutely amazingly non-malicious insult. | /r/MensRights | 20/01/19 07:03 PM
The sad views of society.I disagree. But I don’t think this is an argument worth having as I don’t believe either of us will concede. Not that we aren’t reasonable we just view sex differently. I view it as a gift, and I also do not have a particularly high sex drive, and as such my sexual needs aren’t exactly very strong. This is to the point where I haven’t had sex nor masturbated in the last five years. I have only ever felt any sexual urges through the early stages of puberty and when I become very close to people (… | /r/MensRights | 30/12/18 06:02 PM
The sad views of society.I feel as if marriage and monogamy has been somewhat corrupted by a push towards sexual openness to the point that I think it is damaging. By this I mean people are expected to be especially open about their sex lives (at least in my 19 years of experience of living) and I don’t think such an emphasis on sex is a good thing. I don’t think it should be taboo, but I do view it as sovereign and as such am always slightly apprehensive on the idea of polygamy. Not that it really matters anyway. | /r/MensRights | 30/12/18 05:53 PM
The sad views of society.I feel as if you’re view on the subject is inherently pessimistic and is fuelled with news of divorce and such being especially apparent. I believe that this is because there is no longer anything particularly special about marriage to many people now. It’s just viewed as the next step. To me it isn’t that, it’s something special and unique, and you should have full trust with your partner (I say partner as I don’t view homosexuality as wrong but nvm that) before stepping into such a commitment.… | /r/MensRights | 30/12/18 05:50 PM
The sad views of society.I do think sex is damaging if outside of marriage, as I believe it should be in marriage to keep the relationship sovereign and beautiful (possible bias from my religious beliefs, but hey), but stigmatising the idea of sex and lust is negative, regardless of sex (as in biological gender). Sex is beautiful, it is the pairing of two individuals, who will hopefully be friends on top of being partners. So nothing wrong with wanting to have sex with a friend that you’re married to (monogamously). | /r/MensRights | 30/12/18 01:13 PM
Paedo sisters who abused boy, 6, for over a decade dodge prison after judge says they would be 'too isolated'Abused him from age six to seventeen or something? I believe that’s what the article said. But the sun is sensationalist and as such the title is stupid. | /r/MensRights | 03/12/18 08:11 AM
Most female homicide victims are killed in the home... (BBC quietly mentions later that 80% of murder victims are men). What u/dontpet is saying is that not mentioning male issues in one article because the other issue is important will lead to not mentioning male issues or any issue even. It’s effectively diminishing the importance of something. In articles like these it’s not the major issue that is addressed but the more minor one, and as such, the argument of write it somewhere else becomes slightly less valid due to the fact that the larger issue should be the more important one. Hopefully that helps TLDR - … | /r/MensRights | 26/11/18 08:59 AM

R/athiesm has (or had) fallenMmm I guess that’s true, although this sub is politically contentious (looking against the ‘left’ in the states) especially as I would most likely not call myself a men’s rights activist in front of a few of my friends who are feminists (they’re good people and agree with a lot of what’s put on here though) simply because of how it has been labelled as a group to undermine and belittle women (which is ridiculous) so calling this neither left nor right is interesting, but I guess I’m a lefty so h… | /r/MensRights | 02/07/18 04:48 PM
R/athiesm has (or had) fallenI just went to their subreddit and shock horror, they literally are all on the left (although to be fair I am a left libertarian) most of the posts were bashing the opinions of those on the right who happened to be Christians rather than the Christian belief itself. It seems a little odd, but don’t worry I’m pretty sure that there is a subreddit to discuss views similar to yours somewhere. Most subreddits get perverted just look at r/trebuchetmemes they’re now devoted to cars 2 rather than trebu… | /r/MensRights | 02/07/18 04:45 PM

R/athiesm has (or had) fallenHmmm I have never been or r/atheism before (I’m a Christian and posting anything on there would be paramount to suicide) but this is the case with most large apolitical subreddits. But that being said, abortion as a subject is one where atheists will often go against as Christians are the ones who are most often pro life (I am a mix between the two camps) it is unfortunate but just look out for other topics in r/atheism which are better suited to you. People who agreed with the post are more lik… | /r/MensRights | 02/07/18 04:35 PM
