Review the link I shared if you’re curious about the finer details of selective service but to reiterate my point about pressure, there is compulsory military service for men in the United States. Women are exempt from mandatory enrollment. It is fair and honest to say that “men experience pressure to join the military”.

I think it’s important to specify “they” in this context is not just women but really anyone that you secede power to. It’s part of the human social condition and I think it’s worth pointing out that both women and men are equally capable of seeking and abusing power over one another.

Do you think this is more sexist or utilitarian? Women do generally take a lot longer in the restroom for physiological reasons. Maybe the management is used to longer lines waiting for the women’s restroom and this was there attempt at a solution? If they are single stalls though, maybe a more reasonable approach would be for both restrooms to be unisex?
