4	Saw this on my fb Newsfeed- My friend gets it! Do think this poster needs to be reworded. 'No one else is responsible for your decisions' seems like a very dangerous phrase. I think it really depends on how much bearing the music video and artist's image matters, or more the songs 'catchiness'. If a consumer is buying a song due to the sexual nature of the artist/video/song content, then they're to blame. If not then why is it there? Maybe the blame on the sexualisation lies elsewhere. Do you think people purchased the Wrecking Ball song because Miley Cyrus was nude on a wrecking ball in a music video? The song itself didn't have any sexual connotation, so why the need for the sexual content of the video? Who made that decision? But a young teenage girl starting out in the music industry doesn't really have any power or any choice between record labels. Do you not see the massive difference in pop videos and song content between male and female stars? If the majority of consumers are going there, wouldn't that mean the record label owners have a lot of power? Of course, especially in pop music. The point of that video was to show that women (of all races/backgrounds) are marginalized and sexually exploited by a male dominated media. I actually agree that this is the case. For example a 15 year old person consently having sex with a 16 year old person (in the UK) can be a child sex charge. 0	Comment section compared between mother and father who killed their children. Probably quite a bit of cherry picking going on considering there's only 2 or 3 posts on each one proving your point...especially with 0 context behind the stories to prove that they're similar in nature.
