However what you are saying is still the same issue I have with anyone using the word equal in a comparison context between men and women. Different does not have to mean unequal. 1	"Stop eating so much." -Boyfriend I'm sorry to hear about your surgery and pain in the thighs, stick to the stomach then and don't worry about having abs. I was trying to address your issue with toning the stomach not being an option. But this should not deter you from the gym, to be honest it sounds like an excuse. Equal does not mean that 2 different things are exactly the same, it means that 2 different things have the same value despite differences. Example: 4=2+2=3+1=7-3.... So what does it mean to say men and women are equal? What does it mean to say men and women are not equal? I just found this subreddit and I am "religious" and was immediately wondering how this would affect me. I want to address all of the issues you raised. I was raised as an evangelical christian (don't cringe, as with all doctrines and beliefs there are good and bad sides, unfortunately especially with religions people focus on the bad) but couldn't stay on board and denounced my faith for about 8 years.
