You're going to be risking a great deal of dysfunction and trauma for your child. The womb environment plays a major role, and a woman that dysfunctional that she'd lose custody would also do some damage to her baby (through poor diet, lifestyle choices, and the hormonal environment). Then, the divorce and losing a parent is another trauma. Acting out this scheme is a shitty thing to do to a child. Work on your own issues first before having one.

How old are you, and how old is she? The history and her response is a red flag to me. That doesn't necessarily mean it's a reason to end things, but I personally wouldn't get more serious (wife and/or kids) until I felt like this was cleared up.

Yes, we're men, but we were boys. Boys need love, support, and guidance to become men. Men can provide that for themselves. But those areas where we are weakest? We're still psychologically boys.

Beneath the anger is pain. Pain of being betrayed and misled. It is those wounds that amplify this feeling into rage. Game helps in that it can help mitigate further failures and harm, but it doesn't resolve the wounds.

Yes, we are responsible for ourselves. I agree. In my experience, 'just stop' is another one of those platitudes. It's effective for somethings, absolutely, but people can't 'just stop' being insecure. People can't 'just stop' experiencing so much generalized stress that they can't sleep at night. They do need to take action to work that shit out.

Is that what you do? How is that working out for you?

It's not easy making those changes. A lot of the self-improvement resources out there basically repeating the same tired clichés. While there is truth in them, they only really do so much. It's hard to make real change. But we're men. If anyone has the strength to fight and strive on, it's us.

And it's exactly that adversity that helps us to grow strong

It's short-hand. It means a lot of things, and people interpret it different ways. It's quick and dirty advice to help a large group of people shift their perspective away from dependency, uncertainty, and neediness for the opposite. Men who take this advice will experience their own failures and refine what they've learned from this post. But a relationship is only possible between two individuals. It means that two people come together through mutual benefit and satisfaction. A "relationship" …

It seems to me like I have answered your question. If you feel unresolved and want to address this or other issues further, then I can offer my services to you and work with you. And it is work. I've been doing this kind of stuff for myself for over a decade now and offering my services professionally since 2014. I know that I can provide considerable value.

You are not responsible for the growth of other people. You do not have any control over the growth of other people. At best, you can offer aid/support. It is entirely their choice whether they accept it. Whether they want to improve. My experience providing counseling has drilled this into me over the years. That said, it is up to you to decide. Each relationship is unique. Is it worth the cost? If I see that someone is growing, I admire and respect that. I might not spend much time with them, …

For sure. How I want to be treated as a stranger is with a degree of friendliness, helpfulness, and respect. I don't expect much. If they don't treat me the same, I will them how they treat me--they do not treat me like a person, so I will dissociate from them. I'm willing to spare a few minutes if it is no real cost to me. Beyond that? If there is rapport, I'm willing to throw out some trust and see if it gets reciprocated. Making friends is a lot easier when you're a kid, and the only criteria…

Some gems here. First, I treat others how I want to be treated. Then I treat them how they treat me.

Yeah, people just make bad choices in general, hence all of the men who get screwed in bad relationships with women, and women who invest their most beautiful years chasing the wrong men, getting screwed with the leftovers/in an unsatisfying relationship. Always be skeptical. As the saying goes, for somewhat reliable sources, trust but verify.

Regardless of how harmful it is, the consumption of porn is reflective of the society and the individual. Climax is comforting, and there are a lot of scared, wounded people in the world.

There's got to be some underlying fear. Either figure it out, or as others said, eliminate that unknown.

It not only has to look genuine, it has to be genuine. The way you write, it makes me think that you might be approaching the issue from the wrong angle. That, you're entering the frame of those women and not staying in your own. Being a " good jerk" is incidental. Stay in your own frame, care less about what others think, and focus on yourself. You might have blocks that need to be resolved regarding when/where/how to care what other think, and resolving all of that is no easy task.

Spending the time to argue is validating that the ideologies might have merit and value--that they are worthy of debate and discussion--reinforcing the beliefs.

But if you are improving beyond her, there are going to be consequences. Others should be aware of that. If she cannot, will not, no not in a house, nor with a mouse, not in a train, nor as a consequence of deep emotional pain, eat those green eggs and ham, she will not improve herself sam I am, it would behoove others to understand it.

Generally, a stable guy is a boring guy. Being a fucked up person gets you into wild and crazy situations, leads to a rollercoaster of feelz.

It's your call, homie. You're a man, decide for yourself. I was three bags of nervous when I first started. I stuck with it and slowly dipped my toes in, breaching my comfort zone, little by little. I know I saw a few bigger guys at the classes that I attended. The classes that I did, we had group instruction for about half the class, then partnering up for the other half. I would recommend a class where partners are rotated, so that you dance with pretty much all of the leads/follows. It's okay…

I'm in Vietnam too. Girls are more willing to cross those behavioral boundaries if the passion is intense. Being superficially high SMV is helpful, same with having game. Even then, sometimes things work out and sometimes they don't.

Definitely appreciate this. I've been experimenting and making mistakes in the wild, and it is nice to have a better understanding of what they might be and why.

Anger is a protective emotion that drives us to fight against something negative to help encourage change. Now, if that change would overthrow institutions of unjust power...

You're a man. If you end things, you'll find the strength within yourself, or you'll create it. If she is such a great girl, you are freeing her to find a guy who when he asks himself, "Do I want to be in an LTR with this chick?" the answer will be "What are you fucking retarded? DUH!" It hurts. It's a sad thing. It's a loss. A man's life is filled with growing pains; it is a blessing that you are still growing. But it is your life and your choice. No one really understands the complexity of you…

Sounds like she jumped through enough hoops and then you felt obligated to "reward" her. It makes sense you would feel bad. You made a mistake and it is currently/will hurt someone you care about.

Based on what you described, you didn't seem really committed to entering into a commitment with this girl. The wandering eye seems like a natural consequence.

I agree. My parents are locked in, for another twenty years or so, to four or five times what I am paying for my current monthly rent. Because I am not tied to a massive property and investment, I have the freedom to pick up and leave if I so choose; I have. Sometimes, money in the short term is infinitely more valuable than money in the long term. Maybe we'll end up breaking even, but already, I have lived so much more than they ever have.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
