Are the feminists getting mad about that?

But they suspected you were trolling and trolls (generally) aren't there to discuss. Seems like a fair ban to me.

This and DavidByron's reply was the kind of critical analysis of this picture I was looking for. Thank you.

Why do people just downvote straight away without having the decency to engage in conversation about it? ffs

At least the Provincial Commissioner of the Police said, "rape is a societal problem that sees no gender, age or race." And she is a woman.

Then I had this conversation with her (I am blue, she is red). I went to bed after the last comment and she deleted it by this morning (now in Australia) and not just unfriended me but BLOCKED me. Is it a part of rape-culture to deny that men can be the victim? I never got the answer. Thoughts? edit: clarity

Can someone provide any backstory on this? Links or text?

I didn't think I needed an argument. I thought this was a subreddit for a bit of a circlejerk, among other things. Anyway, none of the websites that I found these pictures on condemned Ellen's behaviour but if a straight man did it then lots of people would get upset. So it looks like hypocrisy to me. But I'm open to suggestions.

Honestly, in both situations I would probably behave the same way the dude did in the gif: shocked and stunned.

Yeah it is pretty funny. Then I thought about the reverse and realised that may not be taken in the same humourous way as the original.

Ok I should probably point out that the fact that people find this funny but not the reverse is not a demonstration of gender equality.

I think it might be more appropriately called "how some women view alimony"

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
