Both parties have their responsibilities towards the child these laws are solely to protect the child. People dismiss the "use a condom" or "don't have sex" arguments. And I disagree. The chances of pregnancy exist, and both know what the consequences are. At the same time is pregnancy a very special thing that bonds (most of the time) the child and the mother.
