It's primarily a visa thing. For her to come here for 3 months the fiance visa is the most practical way to go. If I decide ix-nay on the marriage, she has to go back. If things work out, I get a girl who's been raised with conservative values, and someone that I'm confident will stay in my frame. Dude good point. I think I'm still going to go through with the process, at least of bringing her over here. That way we have time together before I make my decision of whether or not to get married. But I am going to let her know that that's something I will want down the line.

I don't want to take spinning plates on fancy trips with me and friends. I get that there are downsides to marriage, but there are upsides too. And I'm not sure how an open relationship that benefits me can be seen as a scarcity mindset. If you ever planned on settling down, wouldn't you want it to be with a submissive woman that won't give you much lip?

I hear you. Getting married to an American girl is out of the question. However, there are some differences at play when dealing with some Asian cultures. Because our families know each other there's more pressure to keep the marriage working. And since I'm in frame in this relationship, compromises will be made on her side so long as I keep her happy. Plus I like idea of having a cute girl to wake up to every morning.

I do not want children whatsoever. So I don't think that will be too big an issue. I think doing this might make me look like a dick to the religious people in our family, and my frame might take a hit because of it. But I think that as long as I'm improving myself constantly, that shouldn't be a deal breaker.
