What did it take for you to stop the red pill thinking? I have I always been a left leaning liberal politically speaking. When Redpillers started promoting all the right wing conspiracy theories (e.g. big lie) with extreme libertarian views and promoting narcisstic behaviour as "alpha" I started to question the whole ideology and found my way out of it. RedPill tries to stereotype people based on their gender. What helped me, was that apart from dating I had good experiences with women being fri…

I did get into it because I wasnt doing good with women...just the regular "nice guy syndrome". I started out looking for flirting tips from "regular dating" coaches. Then the youtube algorithm kicked in and I went down that rabbit whole until I found RedPill videos. At first it felt comforting because someone was acknowledging my frustation over my non-existent dating life instead of looking down on me.Now I am ahamed to realize I even fell for this crap. I was a frog being boiled slowly.

OP, already touched dating aspect but look at any sitcom and judge how lack of dating success is portrayed differently according to gender - just form your own opinion. It would take some time to unpack this but one major issue alsmost dismissed in media is male mental health there is a very good sub on this - go to /r/malementalhealth if you are interested in finding out more.

I think OP is right - its harder for average or below average guys to get a date espically on apps. I would also like to add, that there is much less empathy for mens issues in society and media.

I have always been "left leaning liberal guy" trying to be a good person, generally in support of wealthfare, universal healthcare, equal rights, free education etc.I realized that a lot of RedPillers promote some kind of hardcore version of capitalism where they blamed "big goverment" and "feminism" for every problem in society and kind of want to get rid of every kind of regulation. Its like they are saying, if everybody is extremly selfish and only does things for himself, everything will be …

Hey I totally get that feeling rejected sucks regardless of your gender. You said that -->"We just don't complain about it online all the time."My point is that if you would "complain" about it either online or to you closed friends you are totally free to do so and you will get sympathy and encouragement. As a man I cant do the same thing without beeing rediculed. If I "suffer in silence", that is also not OK because "I am not talking about my feelings". Its a "loose-loose" situation.I although…

Yes, that was kind of the same for me. What makes the redpill so seductive to men is that lack in dating success is framed differently by society and media according to your gender. If you lack in dating as a man its "your fault" for beeing "creepy", "out of shape" etc. you name it. You get rediculed and shamed for it. When the same thing is true for woman its also the fault of men too for beeing superficial etc. You kind of get support and sympathy. The redpill kind of acknowledges this perceiv…

Hey, I was referring to Somalia because they have "less" goverment than most "developed" countries". So having "less" goverment does not automatically imply life is better for normal folks. In fact the lack of goverment seems to cause the problem. I agree agree on that small island thing ;-) The euthanasia example is super complicated, it could fill libraries of books and still not be full covered. I live in a country where euthanasia is illegal. The reasoning behind that is that elderly people …

Regarding the goverment part: Well I found that views towards goverment might differ depending the place you live. On general, I agree that you dont want the goverment to control every part of your personal life and making rules for everything and invade your privacy. I just dont think that goverment should stay out of everything. For example I think its absolutely necessary that the goverment puts up regulations for things like "smoke detectors" in buildings because lifes are at stake here. You…

Thanks for the clarification on "Evolutionary psychology". I wasnt aware of that. I just thought you could reverse engineer that by using brain-scans or something like that.

Hey Alex,I have seen some of your videos - I especially liked the video where you would critisice "red pill extremism" - I think you got a lot of pushback for that. From my point of view you are taking a males perspective on Dating. Thats fine. I also appreciate that you are not "angry" trying to make other people angry. You reaching out to this sub, already proves that you are not narrowminded and open for improvement. Regarding your questions you should adress the following things in your videos…

Hey, sorry to hear that. You are not alone. Yes, that sweet-mean-cycle is exactly some kind off addiction. It's similar to that dopamine rush you get on Social Media-Likes and slot machines. Over time you become addicted to it without even realizing. Since you don't know what happened you will always feel anxious and unhinged and the allowing the whole cycle to repeat over and over again. The good news is, now know. All the resources are just one google-search away. That book will help you, to f…

You have gone through some very dark shit. My deepest compassion for you, bro. If you found yourself in a self-repeating "Sweet-Mean-Cycle", where every act of kindness from her side made you feel over the top - only to end up being disrespected again, you are probably the victim of abuse. While consistent meditation and lifting have been already mentioned and are absolute essential, also educate yourself on "Cluster B" personality disorders. Get a copy of "Psychopath Free" and read it at least …
