Isn't it in real life?

I don't understand this either. Besides, men who know they have a chance with women still approach them normally. Those who don't approach are generally those who, if they did, wouldn't achieve anything anyway. It seems that a good portion of women want to be approached by men who won't have any chance with them not for the reasons men think, but for something else, maybe for having their egos inflated by getting approached or something.

I would say it's more the opposite: being where he is right now is what made him a socially unskilled person.

I don't think there's a problem with the modern dating scene. My goal is to adapt through cliches like getting fitter, richer, smarter etc. It's easier to change me than it is to change the modern dating scene.

Agree. They're not purchasing the women though. In the op's scenario, they're renting sex and conversations with women.

Well, just look at the men who can have sex easily nowadays. Are they having long-term monogamic relationships? Maybe when they're over 40. The evidence you're looking for is already in front of your eyes

I am in the process of decentring from only one woman. At the beginning of the relationship, she was obsessed with me — for all the reasons in the world, I was a piece of shit so I understand her. During that time, I couldn't even go 5 minutes without answering her, because she would freak out. I was never one to take photos, so when I left the house and didn't take a photo or video for her to see, it also caused problems. I liked it anyway, I always loved the fact she was this obsessed with me …

No, I didn't say that. You can read what I say above.

A lot of cases (I don't know if most cases) have the approval from the younger one's parents. It seems to be something quite normalized in society.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 02:08 PM

I agree. But why do you think so many men never realize this?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 10:49 AM

Whenever a woman reaches the age of the man she was dating before, she realizes how wrong it was. If you dated someone who was 30 when you were 20, then when you turned 30 you would see how weird it was, and so on.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 10:41 AM

It is too far. Most numbers you show are between 60% and 80%, anyway, it doesn't matter the exact number. The important thing here is that you did your research and discovered that dating is not as simple as your invented 99% made you think.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 11:33 PM
5

Nice. Where's the 99% from?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 10:54 PM
5

Did you read the third part of the op text? Also, where did you get this 99% from? The real numbers are far away from this
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 10:49 PM
4

Why not?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 10:34 PM

Funny how none of the comments here seem to refute your main point. It's also funny that many of the comments are just platitudes — exactly what you criticize in your text. People saying that "if you need a manual, you're fucked" which is exactly the definition of platitude since the fucked one knows he's fucked, and that's why he's trying to be less fucked by reading a manual someone told him would make him less fucked.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 09:58 PM
8

Well, it's precisely by realizing it that people go to manuals. Isn't it obvious?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 09:54 PM

Wrong. This post is directed to those who built their idea exclusively from their own experience. People who already know that there are exceptions and different realities? They are fine.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 04:00 PM

Was there really such a debate? I need to find it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:52 PM

You can not be a functioning adult stating generalizations but thinking of them as adults. I have bad news for you in regards to the absolute state of adulthood nowadays. Plus, maybe in a bubble. I could do the same about you when you say most adults you know know how to use the language properly to express themselves and their ideas.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:50 PM

Sometimes I just have to remember men using the words they like — alpha and beta — and thus they understand it better. The way I wrote what I wrote might be disagreed with. But when I say "well, women treat betas as shit and alphas as gods" then they immediately agree (and women start to disagree). Isn't it funny?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:32 PM
3

Yes. I try to keep it as consistent as possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:30 PM

Exactly, that's why my flag is Blackpill instead of Redpill. The best way is trying to see reality as it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:29 PM

It'd be nice if you were right — that men make such generalizations knowing there are a lot of exceptions. The world would be better. Not the case though. Such men usually say very misogynistic things about women as a group, not as individuals. They say, for example, "women have no heart" and if you ask if he's talking about some women, he'd say he's talking about women, period.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:28 PM
2

It would be nice if you were right, because if so then it'd mean men make these generalizations while keeping in mind that there are exceptions, thus many of the problems we currently have would be solved. Unfortunately, that is not the case.

I believe men are less emotionally resilient than women. We just cry less, but tears say only a little of the emotions. Most of it is quiet. I believe that since men become physically stronger than women during our human history — and this caused a lot of problems for women, subjugation etc — women were forced to develop strategies based on emotions to defend themselves thus becoming more emotionally resilient.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:22 PM

How could you go back to them if you never had anything with them not in the first place, not even a stare?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:18 PM
14

That's exactly what I say every time. If a man says something "women aren't easy" I say "they aren't easy... for you"; "women are horrible human beings", I reply "yeah, women are horrible human beings... with you"; "homem don't talk to men", and I go "yeah, they don't talk to... you". We men need to start to locate ourselves in this huge game called relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 02:41 PM
1

Exactly what I said.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 08:59 PM
2

This would be resolved if men stopped wanting to live according to what they believe women want them to live — as machos. Many men just live by what they believe women expect, and that includes being strong,
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 06:26 PM

Why do you think that and how would you change the nature
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 01:56 PM

You're confusing the system created by the men who can't get laid so easily (monogamy) with the male will to get laid easily and put it in practice when they can ((polyamory).
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 01:18 PM

Exactly. People who have sex understand that it's not that big of a deal. People who don't fantasize and idealize it constantly
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 05:13 AM

Absolutely understandable. Women have an easier time getting sex, men don't. Men, therefore, prefer to be in a monogamous relationship than to be single — unless he is that rare and specific type of man who has many women, in this case he prefers to be single, but he is a (almost irrelevant) minority.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 03:04 AM

Yes because I didn't know what was coming, otherwise obviously not. I don't wanna be the man a woman settles for. I wanna be the man that beautiful women have casual sex with, but I can't be this man so whatever

I'm from the time when the redpill talks were starting. In the beginning, it was NOT a self-declaration thing as it is nowadays. You couldn't say you're an alpha or beta or anything else without first knowing the meanings of each of these categories and then locating yourself to know where you are within them. For example (being very reductionist for the sake of the argument): Alpha was a man who had no difficulties getting laid with beautiful women. Beta was a man who had a hard time getting la…

Low effort bait. Where's the adm?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 05:20 PM

That's exactly what everyone should be doing. This would make many men not even talk to women, but that's life. Better than being humiliated.

As I said, it doesn't matter if it's an innate trait or an acquired trait. It doesn't matter in the sense that this doesn't affect my whole point. Just like beauty being an objective thing ("to be beautiful") or a subjective thing ("to be considered beautiful by society standards of beauty") doesn't affect it either. That said, there's apparently plenty of reasons for a man to be an asshole when it comes to the dating market (be it a kid or be it an adult), even though as I said earlier I don't …
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 03:07 PM

I don't know. What do you want me to answer? A percentage of the humankind looking for STR like "about 2/3 of the world"?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 02:21 PM

I absolutely agree with this opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 02:20 PM
1

Why is it so hard for you to specify what kind of man you were talking about? It's been two days
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 02:19 PM

The Pareto principle is true for both genders. Everyone wants the most beautiful ones. Not everyone can get them though, so we (the 80) try to make it work out for us between ourselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 02:14 PM
27

I agree with your opinion as a whole but I disagree in the point that most men become machos or misogynistic because that's what they feel women love. I believe it's less of a conscious decision and more like a positive/negative feedback thing. Take for example two hypothetical men who are both misogynistic since their teens (whatever it's an innate or an acquired trait). Consider one of them to be beautiful (or "conventionally attractive") and the other to be ugly (or "conventionally unattracti…

Personality (whatever that means) is the most important thing ever, just after appearance. First, they select people by their looks. Then, they choose from the group of handsome men, those who have the personalities they like the most. Appearance is the primary filter.

You're talking about long-term relationships. The adage is about short-term relationships

Your definition of being an expert is knowing more than the average? Your advice is worthless precisely because of my third point that made you yawn. Of course if a man in my situation would be picking up women, I'd ask him for advice and I'd follow such advice. That's obvious. If you're going to comment platitudes only, why even comment?

Yes, that helps. Thanks for sharing. That said, I'd like to add something to it. You’re better suited to ask type of women you’re seeking what they look for in a partner and consider whether adopting those traits/attributes is suitable for you. Not asking things like ‘how do I pick a woman up, get a woman out on a date, etc.’ It assumes a level of self-awareness and self-knowledge that honestly and unfortunately most people don't have. For example, every time I asked a woman what she looked for …

I agree that ugly is rare, just like handsome. By definition most people are just average (yes, there are women who see most men as uglies, but that's because they're very demanding, not because most men are really uglies). Didn't answer my question though.

I'm gonna be sincere with you. I don't believe one becomes a "bad boy" or a "nice guy" by choice. It is beyond our ability to choose. Yes, you can fake it, pretend it, but you will probably be seen as ridiculous. It's complex.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 05:19 PM

One thing anti-RP still doesn't get is that the fact most men will have a girlfriend or a wife somewhere in their lives somehow, doesn't prove the idea of assholes>"nice guys" wrong. Yes, "nice guys" will "pick up women" sometime in their lives. They'll just have to wait out the part of life where the assholes pick them first, then they will have their time. Not that deep.

When u/Barely-moral said "their primes" I assumed he was talking about teenagers (because it's when the sexual life starts and all that matters in the teens are how hot you are whether you're male or female) and early adults / early 20's. That said, his point stands still.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 02:10 PM
8

You definitely are. In the US, for example, the average age for men to get married is 30 and women 28. That's the late 20's and early 30's, not early 20's.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 01:58 PM

In order to be a confident bad boy who doesn't care about what others think, you need to be hot first of all. Otherwise, you won't be seen as a confident bad boy who doesn't care about what others think, you'll be seen as creepy. So, basically, his point stands still: women like hot bad boys because they're hot and bad boys, but they won't admit it. They'll always say it's because he's a bad boy and that being hot has nothing to do with it. Men who like bad bitches, on the other hand, will often…

From the original post: In the dichotomy looks vs personality, personality includes your social skills as well. So "it's your personality" doesn't necessarily mean that you're a terrible human being (although, sure, a lot of people use it in this way), it can also mean that you struggle, because you don't have good social skills. Complement: Exactly. Otherwise, really terrible human beings wouldn't be able to get laid, but they do, and a lot. To fix this linguistic problem, I suggest it's better…

Exactly. Otherwise, really terrible human beings wouldn't be able to get laid, but they do, and a lot. To fix this linguistic problem, I suggest it's better to say it's a social skill issue instead of a personality trait issue. It makes more sense.

So what? Only feminists define feminism as a quest for gender equality. Antifeminists often define feminism as obese women with purple hair preaching hatred against men. Does it mean that feminism means what antifeminists say it means? I don't think so. Why does the "words change over time" argument is used only for words like incel but not for words like feminism?

It seems to me that the anti-RP people in this community have difficulty understanding concepts like second, third, fourth, fifth option and so on. Also a hard time understanding that for some (a lot of) people, it's better to be with someone that is not exactly what you want than to be alone. They are also confused about the difference between getting what you want vs getting what you can get. Ok, that said, I will agree that the hypergamy the RP talks about doesn't exist. Now, focusing on the real phenomenon. Do you believe it only happened in the 19th century? I understand that you believe it was not an Indian-specific phenomenon but I want to understand if you believe such a phenomenon doesn't exist anymore, or, in other words, do you believe the real hypergamy can only exist in an officially cast system?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 02:28 PM
1

I used the age gap only and especially to explain my point that gaps are more relevant when we talk about "poor people" (5k-100k) and "young people" (14-21), and that it is not that relevant when we talk about "rich people" (10m-50m) and "old people" (54-61). Do you disagree that Gisele Bundchen was a rich model in January 2000? Do you really believe she was kinda financially dependent on DiCaprio or that he used his money to lure her to him in the sense that she didn't want him but he used his …
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 02:24 PM
1

To be honest, I understand you're talking about two hypergamies. The first is the real, historical phenomenon of women "dating up. The second is the distortion created by PR, which is the phenomenon of women dating only the "sexually attractive" men. I get this part (correct me if I'm wrong). What I don't understand is which one of the two you believe that doesn't exist nowadays or that have never existed. It's both of them? Or is it just the RP distortion of the term?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 02:19 PM
1

No. If a 25 year old woman is approaching a 31 year old man, It's probably because he's well-regarded (handsome, well-dressed, tall, he must have shown up with a nice car, etc.) so the 25 year old peers would approve it. In order to be creepy, you need more than age alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 02:15 PM

It doesn't. Your point is that hypergamy in humans is only a 19h century Indian subcontinent phenomenon?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 02:12 PM
1

I'm not wrong, though. I proved that Bundchen was worth twice DiCaprio. I said that even if I was wrong about this, it wouldn't matter because a multi millionaire cannot be financially dependent on another multi millionaire. Both are independent even if one is way richer than the other. It's like a 7 year old gap in a relationship. 14-21 is problematic. 54-61 is not. What am I saying that is so absurd?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 02:11 PM

What does it mean to believe that hypergamy is a reality "culturally" speaking? Does it mean you believe it is a reality in the 21th century? I'm asking questions to understand your point before I start to express my own point
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 02:06 PM

So you understand that hypergamy has been demonstrated in humans, just not as much as RP claims?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 01:48 PM
2

I'm sorry. I thought you were agreeing that it's wrong for someone over 30 to be in a relationship with someone under 25 because the 25 isn't mature enough yet. My bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 05:59 AM
5

Yes, and this does not contradict my comment. Bundchen was already richer than DiCaprio. This is not important, though. When we're talking about tens of millions of dollars, it doesn't matter. The "access to resources" is only important when, for example, you're worth 5k and I'm worth 100k. But if you're worth 30 million and I'm worth 35 million or even 60 million which is twice, it doesn't matter anymore because there's nothing my millions can buy that your million can't buy in terms of being f…

I know. Plus the accusation that I'm using anecdotal evidence and therefore my post should be banned basically means that most posts in this community should be banned. Most of them are based on anecdotal evidence instead of scientific evidence. Thanks anyway

I agree 100% but I am sure you answer someone else's post, not mine.

I absolutely agree and I actually believe this contradiction is more common in men than it is in women (see the madonna-whore complex for example). But, here's my point: I've seen a lot of discussions about this topic in relation to men and I just wanted to open the very same discussion about women. But this apparently irritated a lot of people.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/25 08:29 PM

Yes. That said, what's the point of social studies even existing if the general answer is "humans are complex"?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/25 08:27 PM

No? I made it clear that I've talked about it with friends (read it again: friends). Also, yeah, the short man situation you put in there is exactly what I theorize in my second point: social desirability bias. Plus if a man is short he gotta have a huge lack of self awareness to ask such questions for women, because he won't get honest answers for the same reason you and I agreed on: the social desirability bias.

It's amazing how the friendliest and most congruent response came from a "rad fem", while the "blue pill women" seem to have either not understood the question or understood it but identified with it and were offended by it and then refused to answer it properly. Now, about your answer: it makes sense, I agree with you. Do you also believe that not dating anyone is so bad that a lot of people choose to date other people who don't actually meet their standards? I believe in this. It's not my case…

If you read the title again, I'll find the words "some women" It's not that deep Besides, three theories or three explanations ≠ three friends. Why is everybody here talking about three friends lol functional illiteracy is strong in this sub
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/25 07:46 PM

Agreed!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/25 07:44 PM

The lack of self awareness is incredible. Can't you see that you're basically denying that there are people who say something while practicing the opposite? Just because I cited personal examples instead of speaking more generally without examples How can you not see how crazy it is to deny such a thing?

Agree on both paragraphs.

It seems you didn't understand that this comment was in response to the unfounded accusation that I was talking about "unknown couples", which is why I made it clear that this behavior I describe in the post I saw first hand. How do you think people perceive behaviors if it's not through people they know? Have you ever read any other post in this sub?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/25 06:48 PM

Do you even know what the concept of social desirability bias stands for?

It seems you didn't understand the question. I didn't ask what strangers on Reddit think about people I know, but about this behavior that is obviously not restricted to people I know. In any case, some people who have already seen this same behavior in real life are already responding and interacting with the post. Why do you comment on things you don't understand?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/25 06:30 PM

The fact that you've never talked about this with women doesn't say anything about this post

Yeah, a drug addict may say he hates using drugs and still uses drugs, because it is a desire stronger than he can control. That'd be my fourth theory. Some things really are stronger than us.

If they are content not having kids nor getting married nor having girlfriends etc then why are they complaining about? No one is shaming or complaining about men who are content and satisfied. Where did you see this happening? I bet it wasn't in this sub.

I have the impression that you didn't understand my comment. Which one of these links are saying that a certain study was not published because of feminist pressure?

Well, what if I say that "if a woman is sexually attracted to a guy to have sex with him asap, then it is not in the woman; it is in the guy since if he was not sexually attractive then he wouldn't have sex asap with her", what would you answer?

I'm replying to this comment because I can't make a comment since it's a question for women. Anyway, I was going to post something like the post you made, because I've been noticing this behavior in "seemingly wholesome women" for years tbh and I've never had a place to share this thought until now. Well, I don't know why you think these women behave this way, but my theory (which seems to apply to most women I know, at least) is that they go after the 1% of men who don't need them and sometimes…

The language is necessary only when you have to conquer the person, when you have to convince the person (or when you wanna date the person). But if all you want is casual sex and the woman already wants you, you just need to be open to her, don't need to talk to her. And by the way, if it's the case you just have to make friends. There's always someone well-versed in English who will translate a basic conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:37 AM

The green card part is a myth, at least in Brazil. They just want to sexually serve the gringo, most of them don't even wanna move on from here. Through the Rotary Club, a German boy came to my city in the interior of Brazil and picked up practically all the girls he wanted, without even speaking our language. The detail is that he admitted that in Germany, in his city or social circle, he is basically an incel because no woman wanted him out there. To be honest, he's actually "ugly" but he's pa…

Men find women who fulfill their gender role (like being kind) more interesting. The opposite is also true, but it turns out that being kind is not part of the male gender role. I would say that being assertive is the male equivalent of the female kindness. No wonder why that man you don't know but at first glance you already notice he's an asshole is usually the kind of man who gets a lot of women. It's because some things that some of us men see as bad are seen as good by a lot of women (being…

I'd say it's a little weird how usual it is for women to get money from random men. It's really an easy life. I won't say that though because I've taken money from men while using a fake account passing as a woman lol

Well, in this case AFBB is working great for the desperate-to-marry woman, not for her victim, because as you've pointed out, settling with someone by any reason other than to choose to is what men fear the most.

You're right. That's why a man who is around 30 years old cannot be chosen, but be the chooser. If you're around 30y and, like a young boy you just accept basically anything that is available, you just say "yes" for basically any girl who wants to have sex or to date you, then you're fucked because if a woman is acting like that with you when you're 30, well that's because they see you as a romantic deficient one. The lesson is, therefore, very simple: once you're 30, you have to date only women…

Also, "is it really so surprising" yes it is in fact it's surprising that most men are taller than most women, thanks to women's sexual preferences at first place
