Sounds like you both had a good time but he doesn't want a relationship. Just throw the FWB idea out there and see what he thinks.

Rub: move one's hand or a cloth repeatedly back and forth on the surface of (something) with firm pressure Dab: press against (something) lightly

Is English your first language? I don't think you understand what the word dab means. It's literally the opposite of rubbing.

Slide into his DMs on Instagram girl! He probably doesn't want to ask for your number while you're working because if you're not interested it could be uncomfortable with him coming in so often.

This is so f****** spot-on it's not even funny. For real, I have female friends in their 30s who are getting more and more desperate. I see them settling down with men who are overweight and make less money. I don't think it's fair for women, but if that's the way society is, we have to deal with it.

This guy sounds toxic as fuck. You need to block him completely from your life. What he did was NOT okay. It sounds like he raped you and didn't give a shit about you. He's passive aggressive and manipulative. Cut all contact and a restraining order might be in order. You did nothing to deserve his treatment of you. Good luck

Say no? Obviously she doesn't think it's a date or she wouldn't ask. If you're really set on it, you need to invite a female friend of yours and bill it as a double date. But really, just say no.

Excel or Gmail. I'll email myself a quick email with first name, any interesting tidbits and where we met. This is a very useful technique for reinforcing those small details. Humans are not adapted for remembering every small detail. Because Gmail is searchable I can search by where I met someone, the place I met them or what we talked about. For more info, check out the book "The Organized Mind" by psychologist Daniel Levitin.

(Playfully misunderstand what body part she said) To be clear, I have a very teasing (NOT negging) way of interacting with friends. All of these need to be said with a sly grin to signal that you're joking.

My first reaction reading this is that you seem to be in interview mode, asking a lot of questions. That's not going to build attraction and it's very lazy. You're asking the other person, who doesn't know you at all, to do the work of the conversation.

The first step to bring great at something is being terrible at it. Lower your expectation and keep it up. Think of it like playing an instrument. You can't play Mozart if you've never played the piano. Think of it like practicing. As long as you practiced, you're succeeding a little at a time. Good luck

If you make her feel like she didn't have a choice, you'll never get a second date. It sounds like she was into you but back off and build more comfort. Not all girls are going to sleep with you on the first date... And that's okay.

Don't approach girls from behind! This is huge. Approach them from the front, even if you have to run around them and stand in front of them. They will be 1000x more receptive. Tapping a girl from behind is a great way to freak her out, even if she thinks you are cute.

By far, cold reads. "You seem like the kind of girl who probably had a pony growing up." "I'll bet in the fifth grade you wore braces and glasses and were a bit of a geek. I'll bet you still are...a little bit." Lately: "I'll bet you asked Santa for a puppy for Christmas. I hope you weren't naughty this year...(wink)." This is way better than asking a question in almost every situation. You are adding rather than taking value. You are making a snap judgment. If you are right she is amazed. If yo…

Cold approaches are only awkward if you make them awkward. It is the most natural thing in the world to be standing next to a girl you don't know and make a comment about her or the environment. "This band is great." "You look happy to be decompressing after a long week." "I love how people in this city are so open and easy to start a conversation with, even if you're total strangers." If it is awkward for YOU, it will be awkward. It is only awkward because you haven't done it enough. Don't conf…

Teasing is often just about stopping or changing the flow of the conversation. If the girl says something just say "Really?" or "Is that so?" and raise your eyebrows in disbelief. 95% of the time she'll laugh. Another of my favorites is all-purpose. I say "I'm sorry" but not when you'd expect it. She will say, "Oh, I'm from New York." and I will reply "I'm sorry, that's a shame." Sarcasm. Have fun with it. It is less about finding the opportunity to make the perfect joke and just challenging the…

Overreact in the opposite fashion. Act super offended that the girl bumped into YOU. Use a smile so you don't seem like an ass. "Watch where you're going!" She will probably apologize. This is basic teasing. Do the opposite of what she expects. Surprise her and have fun doing it.

If you are not making things sexual yet, you need to ASAP. Use STONG eye contact with a slight smirk. Use the above posted guidelines in order: Social touch: Handshakes, hand on upper arm/shoulder Friendly touch: Hugs, high-fives, pink swear, thumb war (upping the ante if you, hand on lower back to direct Romantic touch: Hold hands, shoulder rub, footsie, loop arms while walking (put your elbow out), kissing Sexual touch: Petting, heavy makeouts, remove clothes...you're on your own from here out…

Conventionally, negging is insulting or belittling. It is only reserved for women who are literally models/actresses who having oversized egos. Teasing is having fun and joking but without the intent to hurt. A neg could be criticizing something about them that they might be sensitive about. Teasing is joking about any random thing. A girl says, "I love dogs." You don't say, "You're an idiot for liking dogs." Instead say, with a huge smile on your face, "Dogs are too much work. They are like a t…

Get there early and introduce yourself to everyone, that way when the actual speed dating part starts you have a leg up. Ask silly questions. Ask her what two animals in the world she would combine to make a crazy new animal. Ask her what she wanted to be as a kid when she grew up. Ask her what kind of animal she would be if she could turn into one for a day. Don't take yourself too seriously.

Go up to the mother-daughter set and ask the mom if you can hit on her "sister." It helps to have a huge grin on your face when you say this. I usually get a guaranteed laugh and an "Okay." You are making a joke, complimenting the mom and displaying your intention.

Try some simple exercises. The RSD guys talk a lot about polarizing a girl. Imagine she is sitting on a fence and is going to either get down on your side, stay on the fence, or get down on the side away from you. You NEVER want a girl to stay on the fence. Either draw them in or push them away. How to do this: Try disagreeing with anything a girl says. If she says the weather is nice, say it is terrible (exaggeration here will create humor). If she says she is from Ohio, say you hate Ohio. Thro…

Regardless of whether you are fishing for compliments, you are very cute. I had an interesting experience the other evening when I went to a strip club for the first time. Despite their being many more physically attractive dancers, the ones I enjoyed talking with/buying a drink the most were the ones with either a great sense of humor or intelligence, a few of whom were much older/less physically attractive. My attraction centered much more than I thought around humor and personality. From read…

In your interactions you are leaching/taking value rather than giving it. What I mean by this is you are forcing her to build a conversation, and not in a unique or attractive way. "How are you doing?" puts the conversational responsibility on her. Try this instead. Go up to a girl and use the words "I hate" or "I love" and a random subject. "I hate Metallica." While it will initially seem weird, this will at least get the conversation rolling. "I love salad." Then build upon this. "I love salad…

The ONLY way you can mess this up is by not being clear in your intentions. Be sexual in how you speak (slowly, deeply) and how you look at her (strong eye contact, then varying with looking between eyes and mouth). Touch her (aka kino). High fives, hugs etc. Then, kiss her. If she turns away smile and say "maybe later."

Stop a girl who is with her mother and ask the mom smoothly "Can I hit on your sister?". Giggles will ensue and you will ensure goodwill with both.

"You look interesting" is a much better opener. It is open-ended, will intrigue her (why am I interesting?) and will allow you to qualify. "Are you as interesting as you look?"

Really, I cannot emphasize how much I feel that texting should be ONLY about setting up logistics for meeting up. It is almost impossible to build comfort or rapport through texting. I do like to text a girl a few hours before meeting up "Let's do 8:15 instead of 8:00." This forces her to text back whether that will be okay or whether she is going to flake.

Do the things that you love apart from the relationship. Have your own life SEPARATE from said relationship. I lost my wife in part because I gave up the things she loved about me while being together. One of my favorite points on kino from (I think) 60 Years of Challenge: Hand touching- If you want to gauge the level of interest, use a pretext to hold a girl's hand. Then use your thumb to gently stroke her hand. If she is REALLY into you she will stroke your hand back. She will never stroke your hand back if she has not thought about sleeping with you.

Relationships are a basic need. It does not follow, however, that a "girl" is necessary for essential, life-affirming relationships. Family and close friends can certainly fill this void. Some of the most grounded and happy people I know are completely single and totally devoted to one (or usually many) goals in life, aside from being in a romantic or sexual relationship.

Women are not necessary for happiness. I was married to a beautiful, awesome girl for the last three years. It didn't work out (mostly due to my immaturity) but it has been a huge motivation for me to work on improving my own life, setting goals and achieving my dreams. I am happier than ever and completely single.
