It is futile, I understand that, each sub adheres to a certain mindset and things that don’t follow that or disagree with the narrative being presented is sacrilege. I mean, I love me some ppd just like the next guy, I’m just not seeing it here, nor am I white knighting for the female either. Both are inaccurate. If that makes me a “cuck” then it just speaks volumes to my point about the prevalence of toxic masculinity among young men.

Oh right, so no productive conversation can be held on ppd by men that isn’t in direct agreement with the sentiment against whichever woman’s actions are being put on display. My bad, let me turn my brain off and adhere to the circle jerk for Internet points. You have not even presented an argument other than quoting me and saying “virtue-signaling.” There is no virtue in posing an argument I’m just making a contrasting view point and you’re attempting to ad-hominem me. Make a single substantive…

Ok, if you read the thread there is a sentiment that toxic masculinity doesn’t exist and that toxicity doesn’t apply to any one gender. That is the opinion literally being expressed in OP’s post. So how does expressing that it’s definitely a problem and should not be dismissed irrelevant to the context of the thread? I can’t say wether or not toxic femininity is a parallel to the male counterpart because I’m not a woman so I won’t attempt to speak for their experience. I can however speak on the…

I mean anyone can be toxic. But dismissing toxic masculinity just because some moron thinks that toxic femininity doesn’t exist is ignoring a huge problem in male culture. Both issues should be worked on within their respective cultures by creating awareness of their features and why its degenerative.

I never said there wasn’t toxic femininity. The response however tries to explain that there is neither and that it’s just people being shitty, which is something different entirely and has nothing to do with the point being made in the original post.

I wish I could even feign to understand what you mean but I can’t even do that. Please elaborate?

Toxic masculinity is definitely a thing and I’m a guy. Plenty of men suffer from being indoctrinated into toxic and hyper masculine mindsets or from being in that environment.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
