I finally lost my v-card when I started omitting the first bullet point, and the woman who took it (a college classmate) was pretty pissed when I admitted to it after the fact. As for the second bullet point, I have not worked with an SW so I can freely deny it. And yes, women have asked me. As recently as last year.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 08:46 PM

There are two exceptions to 'the past doesn't matter.' If he has no past (i.e. he is still a virgin) If he has hired SWs (considered a heuristic for [lack of] success with women)
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 08:09 PM

Can I omit the part about flying out to the Bunny Ranch because I was sick of being a virgin at 24?

For the men, whatever standard you set for what determines a hoe in your eyes, would you ignore that if you built a genuine connection in the early stages with a woman? Why or why not? There's nothing wrong with being sexually prolific (provided that your partners gave consent and you use protection). As someone who's struggled to enter a stable, committed, and sexually active relationship, I would appreciate a woman who has a healthy appetite for sex with me. The issue is that men with a sparse…

The paradox of Schrodinger's misogynist, as found on PPD: uses women for sex but is actually an inkwell hates women but is so nice to them that he elicits icks obsessed with IG models but will sleep with literally anything with two X chromosomes fat, lazy, unemployed, and lacking any semblance of self-respect but also so entitled that he thinks having a non-obese gf is his prize for maintaining a six-pack and getting multiple promotions at work

Most people can negotiate and adapt to accommodate a partner. In the Western SMP, heterosexual women have far fewer incentives to pair off because they can exist comfortably (hitting 4/5 out of Maslow's hierarchy) without having to negotiate with or adapt to a partner to whom they are not viscerally attracted. For our part, heterosexual men have even more incentive to negotiate or adapt for a partner because it's very difficult for us to find intimacy in general, let alone outside the confines o…

We do not allow posts about race on this sub. However, conversations about race that develop organically in the context of other subjects are allowed as long as they remain non-inflammatory and stay on topic. Did I make a post about race? Did I specifically mention any races as "undesirable?" Or did I just relate anecdotal evidence about demographic and socioeconomic characteristics of men deemed "below average" by women [with similar, if not slightly inferior, levels of professional accomplishm…

Most these women would be deemed as unattractive by men. I'm 39, 5'10, 175, can bench my bodyweight, and am a homeowner. I've also received "let's just be friends/no chemistry" texts from Exhibits 1-3. They're attractive and therefore spoiled for choice. OP might be right about Exhibits 4-6, but in the right SMP (Man Jose or an oil drilling platform in the North Sea), pretty much any guy could be their cub.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 08:50 PM

Don't forget "displays a phenotype consistent with being of [undesirable ethnic group] origin." I've worked with a lot of "below average" men who held graduate degrees in STEM, owned their own homes, spoke English + a South/East Asian language, and had great relationships with their mothers.

The context of the larger community is important. Two of my cousins are sheriff's deputies outside of Buffalo - they are horndogs, but they would not be caught dead in a ballroom dancing class. Even though they are smart enough to recognize that: there could be a lot of women there unlike in a bar, those woman are generally willing to interact with men below their attractiveness threshold Where I live, men are much more willing to try unfamiliar activities for a shot at meeting someone. As such,…

In practice, what are RPers doing? Mostly gym and leveling up at work. Both are important, but avenues like ballroom dancing, creative writing, and learning to play an instrument (which are also skills that attract partners) go largely ignored or worse, deemed "gay".

Dance will not make you more physically attractive. In fact, the guys who do well in dance are usually good looking and social guys. They would do well outside of dance at a bar, and dance simply gave them access to women socially. If you’re ugly or awkward pre-dance, dance doesn’t automatically solve your problems as a guy. Boom. One of my colleagues actually bemoaned the fact that her swing dance class (paid, so they were all serious) forced her to dance with unattractive partners too.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 08:07 PM

It just seems like ballroom dance classes are an overlooked opportunity for men to get themselves out there. Have you personally considered taking some lessons? If not, why not? If you did, what was your experience like? The few times I did, it was an absolute sausage fest. Caveats include: it was community-sponsored, so investment was minimal (I agree with Blue Pillers that a lot of men are unwilling to invest in opportunities for personal growth aside from fitness) the community in question wa…

Most people who make six figures live in cities where that's the normal pay and cost of living is through the roof. Wrong again. There are only eight metro areas in the US where median household (i.e 2 earners) income breaks $100K. There is nothing normal about that level of compensation - if there was, this country would look a lot different (probably more like Zimbabwe). Good Lord you just make shit up.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 08:56 PM

Let's be honest with ourselves - few Americans are making 6 figure incomes. In fact, the median household (i.e. 2 earners) income was ~$71K in 2021. The fact that you wasted the time to type that response means you're definitely not one of them. 🤭 Now your choice is to refute that by lecturing me on the difference between "median" and "mean," or just calling me an inkwell.

Agile PMs being useless? Work in software engineering long enough. Agile PMing being a pathway for employers to appease DEI overlords by overcompensating employees with certain "underrepresented" pheno- and genotypes? Nobody is going to commit serious academic or journalistic dollars to such an endeavor yet. Again, gotta work as an SE long enough.

I've been watching male colleagues grow dejected after being passed over for promotion in favor of female colleagues who have mastered pretty much everything except actually performing the revenue-driving work. 39M. I can think of three women who would make great partners for anyone other than a Tradcon. One is a friend from undergrad, and the other two are exes from a decade or so ago. Why didn't I try to lock them down? The first one isn't attracted to me, and the other two dumped me. While all of them have dated around, they've been in multiyear, exclusive relationships so I wouldn't call them long-term carousel riders.

Bay Area, particularly as you get closer to the Man Jose end. Single women transfer from the SF office to mine in DC all the time, and over the years, I've watched a few of them grow progressively saltier as they realized that out here on the East Coast, simply being a cis het woman wasn't going to land them a ripped physician. I got chewed out for being "picky" by a [drunk] acquaintance when I turned down her little sister for a NYE kiss. My rationale was obvious to both parties without me having to state it, which is why I was specifically berated for exercising volition when both felt I should be grateful for the attention. The reason that AF/BB continues to swirl around communities like this one is because men who have actually participated in the SMP have the lived experiences to back us up.

Maybe not the moral authority, but if leftover men in the US show up to the polls with a coordinated agenda, our elected legislators will represent their faithful constituents. And look at India's Narendra Modi: for him, inkwelldom is a feature, not a bug. Shaming us only works if we think that playing ball will give us partners and families. When it becomes patently clear that it won't, political innovation and redrawn ideological lines are inevitable. The GOP has been tricking average men into…

One of the triumphs of second-wave feminism (somewhat contemporaneous to the broader Civil Rights movement in the US) was [theoretical] recognition of women as peers in the labor market. As female incomes grew and risk of accidental pregnancy decreased (thanks to the Pill), they also became our sexual peers. With the advent of fourth-wave feminism, dating apps, and reflexive wokeism in the press and in the courts, they're our betters. Now that women are able to experiment sexually, invest in sho…

That's a function of her lifestyle. As a solid 5 who makes a little above the median household income in a high COL area, my incoming likes come exclusively from single mothers, about 20% of whom are looksmatches or better. The reason why men aren't dating or marrying is not due to porn, it is the other way around men watch porn because they can't find wives or girlfriends *within their own pool of looksmatches. Plenty of women are interested in a partner who respects them, appreciates them, and is more conventionally desirable (physically and financially) than they are. We're the ones holding out on them.

Even if they deign to date us out of scarcity, women who have tons of casual sex have nothing but contempt for men with relatively lower body counts. For women, body counts are fundamentally a matter of personal preference. For men, body counts are a measure of social competence and/or resource-gathering abilities.

They are all above 175 cm in height, university-educated, live on their own, and largely sexless (at home). All of them lost their virginity to short-term gfs they found in our homeland whilst on extended vacations/family visits. And no, those gfs weren't looking for a way out - carouseling isn't unique to Tampa or Phoenix. To their credit, they don't bitch about it on Reddit o…

Older women won't put up with crap that younger women typically will because they have wisdom, experience, and a strong sense of self. Just because you're a woman above the age of 38.9 (median age of adults in the US, and this is a US-centric trope) and desirable men don't reciprocate your interest doesn't mean that you're an "older career women" whose success intimidates them. I've been in and out of my neighborhood for the past decade, and the manager at my Giant is still the same woman. She's…

Hetero men and women understand each other's issues just fine. The problem is that most of the voices in this sub (and similar communities) want to engineer social and legal structures so that they (and anyone whom they consider to be peers) enjoy maximum advantage in the SMP, regardless of the collateral damage. Since most of the active participants in PPD are single and childless, we cannot conceive of a world where our hypothetical remedies are visited upon our children. For instance: most fa…

A man between the ages 18-25 isn’t dating a 30+ mother. That's changing, at least where I live (large metro area on the East Coast of the US). While women are at their peak attractiveness, they're bouncing from harem to harem in an effort to land Chad. Non-Chads make do with whomever will have us, generally women who already got thrown off of the carousel.

Whilst it may be a bit of a cold plunge shock for modern man, her freedom to reject you and not feel pressure to “love” or have sex with you is indicative of social progress, and if you’re suffering for that it may be time to self reflect and check yourself. No doubt, and if South Korea is a bellwether for Western societies when average men are increasingly unable to participate in the RMV, that self-reflection is going to turn into increased political participation and activism. Last spring, Yo…

This may sound weird, but I’d rather be with a guy who has lots of experience than none That's not weird - most women participating in Western dating marketplaces do too. Men learn "game" in an attempt to emulate the mannerisms and attitudes of sexually prolific men, so that we have a shot at intimacy too.

Can you list some of the things that modern feminism has done which are a net positive for society? Science and medicine benefit when female scientists are recruited, trained, and promoted because of their intellectual talent. Assuming that MODERN feminism includes the post WWII-era, software development in general and NASA's Apollo program owe much to women, who accepted software engineering roles that their male peers did not want. Among them are Margaret Hamilton, Judith Cohen (AKA Jack Black…

If you wander over into DatingOverThirty, you'll see posts from older women trying (and failing) to formalize situationships with younger men on a regular basis. Why exactly do men feel that a ONS is better for losing their virginity than a relationship? It's not, but you're not a hetero male who's trying to find his first relationship in a Western SMP. Sexual competence (or the perception of it) is a screening tool. We have academic evidence that Asian American men (South, East, and Southeast) are systematically excluded from dating as young adults because we are perceived as being impotent or sexually inept.

The only thing I ever felt about guys who were virgins were they were off limits for a ONS ONS are the primary vehicle for us losing our V-cards though. most women would just be prostitutes TBH, that would be optimal. It would provide an additional income stream for women (and bi- or gay men), and more hapless hetero guys could get laid once in a while without having to settle for a subpar relationship. Abortion (and infanticide) are as old as humanity itself. Delivering a child was just as risky as attempting to lose one intentionally. It is a miracle of modern medicine that abortion is now as safe and reliable as it is. Moral distinctions about personhood should be left those people within whom a fetus is gestating. If we (i.e. Westernized, representative democracies) live the values we espouse, the burden of abortion decisions should rest upon the individuals capable of undergoing them. A li…

The last two proto-relationships I was in ended after they (het women dating me, a het man) realized that I was somewhat apprehensive about being seen in public with them, and was only grudgingly completing boyfriend-adjacent activities in exchange for consistent and enthusiastic sex. I both instances, I was the wealthier, taller, and [much] leaner body-comp'ed one.

5 women believe they are in some kind of relationship and thus not single. One man, Chad, is not single. The 4 other men who could date 4 of those women are single. This is one way the dystopian math could be playing out. It's not dystopian, it's what's happening among MC/UMC young adults in the US. When I did a grad program in a major east coast (US) metro area, most of my cohort was in their late 20s and early 30s - this sort of thing popped up all the time. 'Wolfpack' was my attempt at an allusion to Zach Galifinakis' character in the Hangover. Alan's emotionally stunted persona, and the havoc it wrecked on his personal life, rings pretty true in our experiences. I'll try 'coalition' next time but I don't love it, even if lions can kick wolves' asses.

Well I'm a woman. That's why I asked for a pic swap, given your SN and all. You were, as you put it, "the best deal they'll ever hope for" I admit that I was unable to discern any "major self-image and self esteem" issues on their end. To provide even a modest stipend to 330 million people would be quite costly and clearly impossible for a government already drowning in red ink. This is because the men are waiting for marriage and have lower body counts. I went to college with a nephew of the Sultan of Brunei. [TDLR: asshole non sequitur] Why do het female voices choose usernames that imply a relatively employable profession ("engineer" for instance) and then participate in tons of PPD conversations during traditional North American business hours? If they are actually practicing said profession, how do they have so much bandwidth to contribute to PPD?

This NPR story deserves its own PPD post. TDLR: LA lawyer lady spends $6K on a matchmaker to meet someone who was a regular at the same bar as her, and during the same time period. "How on earth did she miss him?" you might ask. The answer comes out in the broadcast's transcript, which Morning Edition forgot to screen for blackpill content. It's definitely harder for men to find comparable partners in cities where women are less willing to settle down and/or enjoy pay parity with their male peers (which is overdue). Judging from my own (large) social circle of college-educated, mid- to late-30s friends, the women were content to join soft harems while they worked on their careers and attended grad school. When they started pairing off in their early 30s, it was with looksmatches (i.e assortative mating). While I am not privy to par…

Happened to me in 2012 (i.e pre #MeToo). Walked into a DC bar with a group of friends (mostly male, but also some of their SOs) and asked a cute brunette how her night was going. Mothers generally want their sons to become happy, well-adjusted adults. Successful romantic relationships (hopefully like the one that resulted in the sons) are a hallmark of a rewarding life. Watching a child (of any gender) fail to achieve this milestone is a painful experience. As our friends' experiences demonstrate, romantically unsuccessfully American men do not blossom into dark triad supervillans once they get an opportunity to live the Chad lifestyle (albeit overseas). Get some real experience RP is most useful for men struggling to gain experience in the first place. A lot of BP advice is quite useful for maintaining a romantic relationship (practicing empathy, making a conscious effort to listen, respecting boundaries, ect.). But starting one is the barrier to entry for experience. Of course, one could go the starter gf route (where you're objectively her best option, and both of you know it). But that would violate BP tenets (see preceding paragraph). EDIT:…

I disagree with pretty much everything else you contribute, but this makes sense. Most of the successful (i.e. decade+) relationships I've seen in my social circle started looking like marriage material within a year's time. OTOH, my own LTRs were prolonged because the prospect of looking for a new partner appeared too daunting.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/22 06:46 PM

Have you tried going after a starter gf instead? It's just "giving someone a chance" (as women on here are fond of advising romantically unsuccessful het men) for a prolonged period of time.

The original OKCupid was a great platform for letting potential partners who you are because it permitted long-format profiles. Tinder, aping Grindr, changed all that. I'll never know what it is like to be short and ugly, but when I was in the military, I had short, ugly friends who never seemed to struggle with women. It's healthy to expect rejection, particularly in a romantic context. Some of us (like me, a late 30s cis het male) have more experience with it than others. Men here often express that they shouldn't have to wait any longer for sex than another guy did, or that they resent when women give the best of themselves to other men. Isn't that the textbook definition of expecting to be treated like a Chad? The textbook definition of 'being treated like a Chad' is getting a woman's best when she's at her best physically (and it's a hell of a lot easier to maintain a healthy BMI (18-24) when you're under 30). Unlike other folks on the RP spectrum, I disagree with the notion that a high-N lifestyle correlates with a woman's lack of self-esteem respect.
