AFAIK religion is just a set of beliefs, and given that everyone has beliefs it stands to reason that everyone has a religion. Your argument seems to be with organized religion, the counter-argument being that you can't seem to find anyone with whom you agree.

Basically, to avoid making mistakes which in turn allows you to live a better life --try and think slow more often. It's one of my favorite books. While the authors don't delve into the causes, I would suggest that stress is an inhibitor of slow thought. Stressed individuals stick with their reflexes which prevent them from learning from past mistakes and cause them to favor really dumb decisions. Relaxation allows time for reflection. Thus instead of your advice, I would suggest something count…

Specifically, he was neurotic. He allowed his feelings to override his logic, resulting in emotional decisions that made no sense and contradicted his best interests.

His hypothesis was AWALT. Basically, you are representing a logical fallacy by denying the antecedent: If AWALT then AMALT OP did not prove AMALT therefore you deny AWALT. You're wrong. There is no need to prove that AMALT or AMANLT [not like] in order to prove AWALT. Don't feel bad; 6 other people agreed with your faulty logic.
