You have serious issues. How do you integrate into society if you can’t interact with half the population like a normal person?

There were no decent answers. This thread has good answers. Age gap is too small, and half the comments attacked the validity of studies in general (phone call surveys are literally all psychology studies in existence, there are ways to correct for biases too in these)

A lot of guys get infatuated easily but also lose that infatuation pretty quickly after they hit.

So if he befriends attractive women it’s to fuck them and unattractive women it’s bc he won’t want to fuck them so it’s a safer option. Do you see the flaw in your logic or should I elaborate?

This is such a stupid statistic. ASD includes people who can barely function so it’s not surprising 60% fail or whatever.

They are thinking of women with attractive fat distributions. Not pear shaped women. Curvy ones.

There are plenty of people who’ve had very little casual sex. I know a lot of men that haven’t done it after trying it a bit, and a lot of women obviously too, some whom have never done it at all.

I just wouldn’t take the relationship seriously if the girl I’m dating doesn’t have a history of taking relationships seriously.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 07:16 PM

I noticed this too. The earlier a couple got together, the better the guy looks in relation usually.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 07:14 PM

They don’t, they just take what they can get
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 07:05 PM

I mean this guy is probably going to be meet his wife to be a few years down the line. There is no “not ready for a relationship” it’s “not ready for a relationship with you.” This sort of phrasing lets you externalize the reason for someone not wanting you when you are obviously a key factor in someone wanting you.

If this was true this subreddit wouldn’t exist.

Yes but they would also be very willing to get into a long term relationship with a hot guy. The problem is the hot guy rarely wants that as well.

Cold approaching is autistic. It only works for people who easily get dates on dating apps
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 04:09 PM

It could also indicate low investment/interest. Someone who is not worried their partner might leave them might either believe no man in the world could make her leave or he might not care that much that she’ll leave (fwb)

This is not been my experience with women my age. They couldn’t care less about money. Maybe at 35 it matters more but that’s more bc ur competitions looks fade.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 02:02 AM

How does it make it better (or worse for that matter).
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/23 11:51 PM

Yes but most attractive men in real life won’t be that. In fact attractive men are less likely to be in that position. The choice between an attractive guy with a normal job and an ugly guy with a high paying job will be obvious. That attractive guy with no prospects still at least gets hookups and flings with women and probably long term relationships from women with no aspirations themselves.

Do you want to see my W2? How do I prove myself? I’m just not very attractive. As far as I can tell being high income is just a small boost to women my age. I don’t have maids and a driver. I just can afford a nicer apartment and nicer things. If you saw me on the street you’d never guess my income and this goes for the majority of my coworkers. The only way you’d know from that is if you looked at all the little details in aggregate. For example you might notice I take Ubers a lot or don’t real…

As guy B, guy A is a much better deal…believe me. Women really don’t care that much about money unless ur extremely rich. The difference between 80k and 400k is minimal in terms of attraction and life satisfactions. At the end of the day you are probably working harder just to get a bigger number in your bank account.

You don’t think a lot of these women are just gen z trying to make their identities more unique for attention? Anecdotally a lot of bi woman rarely go out with women (and there are no benefits to just going out with a man over a woman)

https://creativepro.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Hairless-Depp06.jpg sure bro, Depp is ugly and his selling point is his hair. Bald men are usually typecasted as creeps in the media for a reason. Guys look way worse without hair, you just chose a really attractive guy who still looks really good without ir

you have to have a very masculine skull to pull the bald look off

Just grow a beard
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/23 05:02 PM

Lol why are we pretending bald men are attractive? Because they're not, there's a reason you're told to grow a beard when you're bald. Beard + bald however is a normal look.

Look up what sentience means and come back. And yes you described the alignment problem but if it veers away the world as we know it probably ends. Im assuming it works or else this hypothetical wouldn’t make sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/23 05:42 PM
1

No it won’t, a lot of animals are sentient and have no rights. And a sentient being can be programmed to want to do something. All the benefits of AI hinge on us programming them to do what we want it to do. GPT3.5 has no rights even tho it can beat most college students in the SAT and IQ tests

You’re underestimating how advanced AI will get. An AI bot will probably have better personalities than most humans.

Robot lovers will be seen as degenerate. Women are less sexually exploring than men. Women also care more about the status of their partners.

I mean you can have a greater than 2% margin of error and a 80-90% confidence interval, doesn’t really change the results th at much, number still high. Also are you sure you pluggged in the right numbers it says for me a 1% margin of error with a 95% confidence interval

When foreign populations rise, intermarriage rates fall because there are just more available partners of the same race. People of certain races form clusters.

A sexbot can have a personality. Probably a better one than most people (given enough time, when AI become as smart as humans). The only difference is there is no difficulty to attaining a sexbot nor is a sexbot respected by other people, it will be seen as degenerate.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/23 04:05 AM

Yet women still desire relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/23 12:55 AM

Yeah which proves the point that women are interested in the status of men. A sexbot has no status.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/23 07:46 PM

I mean AI has been progressing rapidly. It will probably be smarter than humans within 10 years. With that said obviously it will still fake and be seen as degenerate.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/23 03:25 PM
2

It’s not* I assumed so based on the percentages. Just seems strange half of all women exclude 6’ men when this isn’t true on other apps. I’m suspicious of this graph. Can’t find the original source and why would bumble release this.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/23 09:02 AM

Do very few women just use heifht filters on bumble then? Find it strange 50% of women exclude 6’ here when it’s obviously not the case irl or even other apps.

Yeah I’ve been trying to convince people that I did fairly well in an experiment with dating apps overseas as a dark skin with an ethnic name and not obviously American or rich on my profile. Competition is just lower overseas and women take dating more seriously.

I just think the usual alternative (living a hedonistic lifestyle) is worse. And as you grow old and distant from other friends and family besides your SO if they’re alive, your kids can provide life long companionship. Give me anything more meaningful than some dumb shit like going to France or making vegan cookies for puppies. You literally listed virtue signaling as your first choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/23 07:58 AM
1

Meaning is easier when it’s someone you have a deep connection with and it’s something that’s bigger than yourself. Kids are one of the easiest way to do that. Obviously it’s hard but chasing endless short term pleasure isn’t what life is about.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/23 07:57 AM

He looks like the type to have girlfriends. It sounds better to think anyone can workout and become attractive which is true to an extent but it doesn’t help to show guys who went from good looking to even better looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/23 12:40 AM
-1

Actual passions (learning how to play piano to look sophisticated is not a passion) are good. Making connections is also good. I just don’t think anything you said is meaningful. They just sound like vapid activities that look good in photos and lacks meaningful long term connections with anyone. Family’s positive is it’s long term and isn’t as vapid as traveling.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/23 12:38 AM
-3

I mean you'll quickly realize most of this stuff is pretty boring unless you have a genuine passion for it. Traveling and eating at restaurants are pretty vapid activities too, they're fun to do the first time you have disposable income but it gets old quick. Most parents seem to find meaning in their children, so I think it's a source of meaning anyone can enjoy.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/23 12:24 AM

Exceptions don’t make the rules and some women lie downwards. The first girl seems strange, an introvert would want to get close with 45 different people let alone sleep with them?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 07:18 PM

Reread what I said. The types you’d typically pull won’t be the types you’d want to date (trashy hoes). Not that only those types go clubbing.

I agree with your first point to an extent. Guys in college who socialize regularly have no problem finding a girlfriend. But tinder is difficult unless ur markedly above average. And if ur average you’ll find yourself with below average girls only.

Look up Austin Dunham’s tinder videos to see what I mean. He only sees attractive girls pretty much (and vice versa I assume). And being in a sorority doesn’t automatically make you hot.. You were rejected by those guys before you could swipe on them. Is that hard to believe? Men Probably swipe more than woman so ur elo gets adjusted independent of ur swiping.

How my wealth or citizenship status isn’t obvious from my profile. I’m not white. I don’t have ostentatious displays of wealth in my photos. I have an odd name that resembles the typical name of lower class people in the region. If anything my race should be a great detriment to this type of strategy. I’d agree if I was an American looking guy but I’m really not. I was surprised at my own results because the country is documented to be racist against my racist and I’d be assumed as low class. (T…

Lmao your elo got adjusted down, you’re just exposing yourself. The way it works is it assumes you have the highest possible elo and every lack of a like with a guy with a lower elo than you lowers it until you get to your real elo. Guys match with basically every woman. But the attractive guys didn’t match with you so your elo took a hit and then you got showed the mid guys. The same thing happens to me. I think it’s cope to think it’s just money, I’ve tested out dating apps in different countries out of curiosity and they just work better there even tho I’m not white and not obviously American/rich from the photos or name. A lot of it is that women indeed have lower standards there for whatever reason. Men in the area are worse looking or maybe the dating market isn’t as efficient and top tier men don’t give as much attention to multiple women at once as they do here. Do you really think all th…

I never said that, just that monogamy is typical. Extra pair couplings happen and polygamy (one man with multiple women) is accepted. And it’s likely because in most cultures a lot of men would die in wars so women would have to get into these couplings rather than some free 60s era sex commune you might be thinking of. All monogamous animals cheat because it is sometimes an advantageous reproductive strategy to cheat. This doesn’t make monogamy false. It just means there never was a biological …
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/22 08:50 AM

It’s not a social construction , our predecessors had long term pairings and so did our human ancestors. Almost every society that has ever existed invented a form of codifying monogamous relationships and generally are monogamous. Whatever helps you sleep at night tho. https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fevo.2019.00230/full The book about humans being non monogamous was debunked widely as pseudoscience. These are all relatively empty compared to a long term partner. We’ve been having long term partners before we even evolved into humans. Don’t think that’s about to change for the average person. You can’t get companionship from a charity, people come and go randomly. Friends will place their partners and kids over you. They’re also likely to enter and exit your lives.
