I’ve never had a man over 30 “make” or suggest I pay. Your friends men are doing that cus they let them. Personally, I don’t argue and I don’t persuade. Feminist or not.. men are to court women. - Broke men only mention feminism when it comes to opening their wallet. They don’t care about the tampon tax, maternity leave, if you are treated fairly at work, or anything else. - If he asks you out, you’re attractive enough. (.also seems like the root of your issue is self esteem tbh why do you keep …

Why can’t a man fix himself? Men can do everything else in the world they claim, so why can’t they do that??

I personally feel like shitty dating experiences is a necessary growing pain. as long as you don’t come out of it with any babies or marriage ideas with LVM... just date men who meet your standards, casually. But it’s gonna be a struggle for a while. You actually will have to decide to place yourself in circumstances where you’re only around higher class men if that’s what you desire. They won’t just fall to your feet.

Does his house look lived in? I’ve dated wealthy men with multiple places. Specifically a man divorcing (in my country you have to live apart for a year before you can legally divorce) so he had the family house, his own apt and another apt closer to town. Maybe your man is in ~an entanglement~😬

Be HV yourself. Dodge LV relationships. It’s simple really. A lot of dating will be LV for you until your peers mature or can put yourself amongst HV people in your adult circles and hobbies. Just enjoy yourself, be safe and don’t get your feelings involved.

It seems like you’re coming from a place of “needing to date” instead of wanting to date. why? At 19? You have your whole life and will change as a person several times. Dating should still be occurring naturally for you. You’re (covid aside) surrounded by peers and there will never be another time where you have this. Your history sounds very serial monogamy like to me. Please take our advice and do not fill every viable year of your youth with a relationship.

If you seriously care about her calling her thirsty will not get your point across. If she’s someone who’s well being you care about, you could ask her what she’s seeking from that and why she feels that’s the best way to obtain validation.

I remember trying to get a therapist to convince me to leave my (ex)partner. She asked me what I would do if I was single and I said “write more, make art” she was appalled, and asked me why I wasn’t doing those things in the relationship and I shrugged it off. Fast forward to a year later, I’ve been single for one whole year for the first time in my entire adult life. I realized that in all my relationships I lost myself to please others. I did not feel like there was room or time for me. I did…

I’m not well versed in this culture. what is the goal of men like this? they hate women, do they sleep with men?

What are you looking for? If you’re seeking out people you must be looking for something. As a 30 year old I can’t image OLD at 19. Sounds like a disaster waiting, but I idk we just didn’t have the option. When I was 19 I casually dated people I met through my friends circle or uni. At that age, in retrospect, I personally would be getting to know myself better and focusing on setting future goals. Every relationship I had before 25 was a drain on my emotional health. I wasted time worrying abou…

“Doing some stuff for work” as opposed to “I’ll be finished with work at 5 and give you a call then!” 🤔🤔🤔 you werent very clear. Either you need a phone call or you don’t. Too much room for grey area and now you can’t even tell if he’s playing games or not.

Yeah the important part is reservations and confirmed spot and time.

Communication, Clarity, Consistency. Communication: I confirm a few hours or hour before. “See you at 7 at xyz?” I would say that for any meeting of any type. Clarity: I don’t say things like “are we still on for tonight??” Or “are you still down to meet?” that seems desperate to me. But that doesn’t change anything he could still stand you up. You can’t change what men may or may not do. You can just change your reaction. Consistency: I have a consistent response. If they contact me I am no lon…

I went on a date with a guy who it took forever for the date to get arranged with. First yellow flag. He kept saying “yeah I think I could make that time work” or “maybe” in response to me asking if we were going out. (yikes @ myself) I made plans and then when he checked in about the “maybe” date I said, sure but I have plans at 7. He seemed shocked I was like sorry didn’t realize you were actually interested and other plans came up he then shuffled around and suddenly became direct and respons…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
