I see what you're saying, but also originally feminism was about equality too, and look where it's at now. All of takes is vocal extremists to change the whole thing. And you can't tell me you haven't seen anyone being sexist on MRA subs even if they usually get downvoted. Sadly there are a good few people in these communities that are sexist. Not saying MRA in general is bad but it could just as easily take a turn the same way feminism did.

Personally my theory is that gender rights are gonna act like a wave. Men used to be privileged and women were oppressed, then the feminist movement created equality, then new wave feminism is creating oppression of men and privilege for women, and I think that eventually the MRA movement will create equality, and then it will create oppression of women and privilege for men and the only way this cycle will break is if one of these movements stops at equality and doesn't try to oppress the other…

I posted asking at the time if i (M) wta because when something of mine got stolen and a girl that has a reputation for stealing said I could search her bag I took the offer. (For context i was living in a shelter home) she apparently got offended so i went to ask aita. Got told that I was the asshole for accusing this poor girl of being a theif. I had always been under the impression that men score higher when it comes tests and grades because when I was in school the kids that were known as the "smart kids" were pretty much all guys. It was odd though cause it seemed like when it came to actual grades some girls got good grades very easily, almost as if a boy and a girl turned In the same paper the girl would almost always get a 90+ whereas a boy would get 70-80, especially in English where grading papers is pretty subjective.

The funny thing is I know of lots of guys that have been sexually abused but aren't vocal about it because they're either afraid that they'll be seen as less of a man or are afraid that the person who did it will go after them for exposing them. Also "men are immune to trauma" is bullshit for obvious reasons, I just think men are just less vocal about this stuff
