This is probably just because I'm paranoid as fuck (which leads to a lot of issues in relationships), but I don't believe the "sleeping on the couch" thing for one second, especially if it has happened more than once. Means that the lie worked once and it'll work again since you believe it no problem. Regardless, give her a taste of her own medicine. Or be nonchalant and be your own guy, but still fuck her.
