I've always heard it that women's lips get redder when they are aroused. So makeup exaggerates the biological signs of arousal. Since we are human and not evolved to deal with this hyperbolic appearance of arousal, I would say makeup is extremely manipulative.

I don't think most posters here are really concerned with equality. They acknowledge/believe that men are women are very different, and thus, inherently unequal. I think a lot of people here believe in women and men being considered equal under the law, which is a bit different, and since they clearly aren't, they consider the best course of action to be acknowledging reality and dealing with it as best they can. "The cause" isn't one shared by everyone here, in other words.

I think part of his point is that women are often attracted to a variety of things, looks included, but men tend to have looks as a much higher priority on a shorter list of requirements. It is the antithesis of the red pill as I understand it to equate men's desires and women's desires, and that's what you're doing when you ask about "everyone here [being] that good looking..."

Let's say my religion involves removing the penis entirely from newborn male boys. Would I be right in following my doctrine? I say we have a right as a society to determine what is acceptable to do to children and what is abuse. I don't like genital mutilation in any form. Interesting to read it put like this. It occurs to me that other groups use a similar strategy, like MADD's hysteria over drunk driving and that really, generating panic is a powerful political tool, since fear is such a strong emotion.
