I wish I could post a photo album to illustrate my point, but there are three married women I know who, to my knowledge, never posted any scantily clad photos on social media, yet during their pregnancy these women were posting full-on nudes and near nudes for all to see. You could argue that evolution takes place at multiple “levels,” for example the individual level and the species level, but the level where natural selection actually takes place is at the genetic level.
