Push pull needs to be done from a natural and fun place, rather than a dark and manipulative place. Thats the difference, the energy and intent it is coming from. The best movies push and pull you like a motherfucker and that's why we enjoy them so much, it's a fun ride. If those same movies were trying to manipulate is with their ups and downs, that would make the whole experience icky and gross. So, push pull is actually extremely foundational and important, the trick is to be doing it more fr…

Eh. There's a middle ground where you can both understand how things work rationally and also not be weird and indeed about it. It's not an extreme either or thing. That response comes from being overwhelmingly upset. Like most things, the truth is in the middle. There are many successful men who are not good with women at all. Social skills exists. But I agree with you for the most part just consistent social exposure trying to have fun and enjoy life will get you more than being weird and obse…

It's odd until you see the power of it and realize that it's literally the most effective way to feel the way you want to feel, and then that makes you realize we live in an energetically and emotionally unaware society

Move your energy down into your chest and body by visualizing hold light going into your chest shoulders, low belly, legs, dick and balls. The more you send energy lower by imagining it down there the more you train your nervous system to get more powerful sexual, masculine, grounded, and powerful.

You gotta stop looking for reasons why you aren't ready to go do something and just go do it. Don't worry about doing a better job at that thing until you are taking real consistent action on the most basic parts of it, in this case showing up to social functions. As you show up consistently, you will begin to answer your own questions on how to improve your social skills, and those answers will mean 1000x more to you than a guide on the internet ever will. Imagine if you kept showing up to a gy…

It's a whiny rant tinged with bitterness and resentment to "narcissists". The every looming Boogeyman of all those predators who want to take all your money and leave you in the dust.
/r/seduction12/03/20 01:07 AM

Seems you have a resentment towards money and fall into the classic low level mental trap of money evil people who try to make money evil. I imagine you aren't an entrepreneur and don't have a healthy relationship with money if you core every Coach in those categories as basically a manipulative narcissistic predator.

Go to therapy. You need to heal the trauma that created the low self esteem. You do that and your self esteem will get way better and you will see yourself as a whole other person than you do now in terms of attractiveness and value to women. I recommend somatic experiencing therapy. They heal the trauma at the root, permanently, and biologically understand how it works. Books to read, in an unspoken voice by Peter Levine. My solution is to go out alone and wait until I get comfortable with being alone and not taking to people. And only when I become not afraid by deeply relaxing do I show myself to begin to talk to girls. This takes away the forced overwhelm that makes you hate going out alone. Hating going out comes from too much pressure to perform. Drop that pressure and then you will figure yourself to worry going out and won't depend on girls liking you to host your mood, therefore seeing yourself up for gia…

Everyone will always be rejected to some degree by some people, so often it is a sign that that person was not enjoying themselves at the time. Think if how often the average guy is not enjoying himself. Women experience more negative emotion than us on average. Workout and improve your life, but never do it with the expectation that people won't reject you or not like you anymore. That's a fools goal to ever try to completely get rid of that.

You are having repressed trauma triggered but the girl not liking you. Somatic experiencing therapy will fix this. You just clear and heal the repressed trauma. It used to be devastating for he to be rejected. Now I laugh loudly and make a big joke out of it and scream at the girl that we are supposed to be together forever lmao. If you don't heal the trauma, you won't fix this issue. In fact if you don't know how to let it go continuing to express yourself to the rejection could literally make …

You don't understand the nuance that it comes from the woman and the man as far as her behavioral motivation goes? It's quite simple. It's not either or. I don't know why that's so hard to digest for you.
/r/seduction04/01/18 10:04 PM

Good luck with that. Wanting badly something to be so doesn't make it so. You sound very defensive right now, so you probably won't see my side because that would cause you to feel some pain about your own responsibility to be more valuable in relationships.

And those choices are motivated by if they have their needs met or not. Wishful thinking to put the onus 100 percent on them for whether they are going to be pure of heart and soul and never get their needs met somewhere else, regardless of how good it feels to make it all their fault
/r/seduction04/01/18 06:29 PM

Eh, sounds nice but is it completely true? I think not. There much you can do to increase your value as a man that will make this less likely in the future. The truth is more nuanced than this. It's not all his fault but from the way he speaks it's definitely some his fault and it he doesn't take responsibility where he can in this he won't grow and become more valuable and more fulfilled in life.

Read no more Mr. Nice guy. Do the exercises don't just read it. You need to experience a lot of anger and practice setting boundaries in increments in order to transcend your depression and feelings of helplessness and lack of self worth. A lot of men who come here come from a place of feeling powerless and taken advantage of or ignored by women. Well in order to get out of powerlessness you have to get angry. This makes you a bit of or a lot of a dick for a while. If you build your ability to stand up for yourself and reinforce boundaries and standards in your life again, you can then become more chill and kind because it's coming from a strong high value strong integrity having place. But if a man who feels powerless is nice it…

It works for a while until it doesn't. This is coming from someone who was like that until it didn't work anymore. I doubt I'll convince you, so good luck. I doubt I would have listened to me either. That would require me dropping my distrustful and angry closed off defense mechanisms that I believed were protecting me. But I guarantee you you feel no deep joy or love when responding to life like this over and over, though it does mute the pain.

People just don't understand emotional health. I don't blame them. I had to really search to learn it. It's not popular in our society. Being angry or disconnected and "stoic" are last ditch efforts at preventing feelings of overwhelm and hopelessness, which they are good for short term. But at a certain point you gotta cry and scream all that shit out to ever be happy again to where you aren't just coping with a shit life, but living a good one. This is so emotionally unhealthy. Hardening yourself emotionally is a great skill and very valuable at certain times, but not as a general life characteristic. What you do not express, you depress. The more you depress, the more depressed and miserable your life will get, losing the ability to connect or feel joy happiness or love. In order to feel good, you must surrender to feeling bad. Your father is very emotionally unhealthy and he is not a happy man.

Also a good practice is when women tell you to leave, you tell them to leave and that you aren't going anywhere. This is great assertiveness practice and you will often find that they become attracted to you as a result of your standing your ground. It's pretty incredible to witness. Just ask yourself, "why do I need to leave?" Why shouldn't they leave?

Purposefully be an asshole for a period of time and see the hidden value people don't tell you about. Practice setting boundaries when you do not like someone else's behavior. Meditate on anger. Lift weights. Paradoxically after this phase you become much more grounded and more kind because you know you can whip out the anger if you need to, but you find usually you don't even need to. Seems like we agree generally. We just have different ways of describing and thinking about it. Be careful with being rule by either emotion or logic, do your best to integrate the two to best serve your life, your community, and fulfillment in general. If you integrate them you can make much much better judgment calls not out of reactivity but from a place of choice. Generally speaking.
/r/TheRedPill18/05/17 04:16 PM

but that's the thing. You don't have to ignore them. You can recognize and hold space for an emotion that won't motivate you to act ideally without reacting to it. Ignoring it is suppressing it. Unless you are using the term ignoring differently. and actually emotions can pass using this system without a change to your external environment. It's the paradox of accepting how you feel. It will pass if you accept it. And like I said before you can literally talk to the self that feels the feeling t…

Really good info in here. But I would say don't ignore your emotions. Accept them and treat one that isnt helping you like fear of being seen, like your own child. Tell yourself that that part of you can go home and have its needs met and be safe while the adult part of you will take care of these logistics and take care of you and make sure you are safe. There's a lot of people who are terrible with women in here you have to remember. They are fighting to hold on to the same mentality that makes them bad with women because they connect it to their sense of being a good and valuable person.

You didn't answer what the difference is. You just told people to learn it. This is unhelpful. I don't think there is a difference. It all comes down to how genuine your intention is. Seduction is persuading someone to get sexual with you. Manipulation/persuading/seducing. All these terms are talking about the same thing with different connotations.

It's a basic framework. You have to do it multiple times to really develop the social acuity to not be a robot. This advice will be harder or easier to follow depending on how well you can calibrate. But learn everyone's name. Tease, and compliment ad infinitum. This makes you more interesting that someone who only does one. That person will become stale. With guys and girls, the only difference really is sexual intent.

Yea. I agree with you that you have to take action and learn through repetition first and foremost. But you can also implement things that you learn conceptually from other people's experiences. It's not mutually exclusive. People treat it as though it is so I guess they feel more sure of themselves and their methods of achieving their goals. I do think it's a dance for sure. More intelligent women are actually more susceptible to emotional subtleties. You eventually figure out that there isn't a distinct line between socially savvy and manipulative. Get off the Internet and meet MORE people with different expectations of their behavior. You attract in your life what you expect to happen. This is very true regarding Red Pill's low expectations of women. Start interacting with women as people, and believe they are capable of great things. See what happens. There's shitty people on both sides. And great people on both sides.

Yes. Do the exercises. ALL of them. The analogy is studying about music and playing it. Say women are attracted to great musicians. So you read about music and it's theory for months and years. Then when it's time to woo them with music you pick up a guitar and can't play shit, but can sit there and talllllk about it a lot. The second half of your comment is extremely fear based. As long as you are primarily motivated by fear of loss, i.e. a scarcity mindset, you will attract the things which you hate and do not want in your life through confirmation bias. Please change this, for your own sake and happiness and peace of mind. The Red Pill has truth in it, intermixed with a lot of toxic hatred and anger, and a lot of justified hate and anger as well. I recommend you read, "No more Mr. Nice Guy". Dude there is huge hate/derision for women in there, and I see a lot of truth to the things that they say anyways. Not everyone hates women in there, but it is PROMINENT. Thats a big part of what the anger phase is. Anger towards women, feminists, and blue pill thinking that is destroying the potential thriving of men. Cock carousel, Chad thundercock, the wall, etc. These terms have an underlying seething hatred and resentment in them, even though there is truth to the terms as well. But the thi…

Seeing hugging as invading someone's space is the mentality that will work against you in being attractive. It means you're more invested in their response to your actions than you are in your free expression of how you feel. The trick is to become the person that naturally hugs and touches people easily in a non creepy way. It's all about intentions and the underlying energy. The hug thing is in fact a great idea if you are the right person for it. If you aren't a hugger and see hugging as an i…

Redpill is about sexual strategy for men. Masculine and feminine descriptions couldn't be more relevant as knowing what's going on with the dynamics increases your ability to sexually strategize. I'm not sure why you said it's about self control. That's just one component that you use sometimes or often. There is no trait you express 100% of the time. Human beings, men included, are very dynamic depending on situation.

This. Is true. The man basically always goes to jail. Men are evil abusers always didn't you know?

Thank you for saying these things. TRP likes to act as if men are not emotional beings at all. It talks about the hard masculine qualities and never about the soft ones, for fear that we aren't hard enough, haha. I appreciate you posting something that halts me feeling dead inside from reading OP's post.

I agree with you so hard. After so much change and reaping benefits from growing as a man, and things I've read here, I have a couple times had to take a long break sometimes because the hate is so toxic to a mind being above it all. A healthy stoic masculine mind if you will. I meditate and increase my focus and determination towards accomplishing my goals and growing as a man, and then women become a non problem. They just flow towards me easily when I'm in that state. It just fucks up my mind…

Is this your MO? I'm assuming with your conviction this works well for you consistently. Is this correct? And thanks for the answer man.

Does this work for you? I want to do the same thing but have been having trouble becoming adept at making sure I'm not perceived as trying to "date" them.

This is wrong though. Women's biological imperatives tell them to find good genetics, alpha, and good provisioning and stability, beta. They have a pluralistic sexual strategy hardcoded into them. This is talked at length about by a mentor of this sub, Rollo Tomassi, author of the Rational Male. You can't be mad at a fish for swimming. It's a fish.

Anger over injustice is empowering. Being sad about it is not, it feels overwhelming and hopeless. I see this rant as striving for empowerment in the face of great injustice more than a sound rational disection on people being true to their biological imperatives and being shitty people while doing so.

Negging done properly is just teasing. Normal part of interaction. Some people who don't understand this take it way too far and any woman who is confident and desirable will smell it a mile away. Only the insecure unstable ones fall for the really assholish negging.

I suggest starting at 20 minutes. I did 20 minutes and then I increased time as I experienced needing more time to let my central nervous system calm down. I moved up over a few months and now I do 40 minutes. I think there have been studies showing impact on the brain with as few as 8 minutes. Search absolutus. He is a reddit user who made an insanely awesome post on his meditation experience. He explains so much on what is possible and he inspired me to meditate forever. Also, read meditation …

Also I really struggled with anxiety and depression and over time the frequency of extreme episodes became less and less and the length of time they lasted diminished. Their power over me is diminishing over time. These processes take time just like working out. But there is also immediate day to day impact as well, also like exercising.

I noticed a result after a few days with meditation as that's all I started with. I could hear more crisply, see more textures and I started crying riding my bike because the world was so beautiful (I rarely ever cried before). It has immediate impacts and long term impacts. I've been doing it about a year. You still maintain the ups and downs of emotional experience and energy but your average experience becomes more and more peaceful and smooth as time goes on. The writing also usually helps i…

Meditate. It's the only way I ever stopped impulsive thoughts that I previously believed to be out of my control. It's mental exercise to control our mind states and thoughts. Without it, we are not strong enough to change that conditioned inner dialogue we learned growing up. Some people are lucky, they were conditioned to think thoughts conducive to a happy and well adjusted life. Other people are not as lucky, and for us there is mental training!, i.e. meditation. Also, meditation will help y…

Yeah the majority of people here are casting judgment and denigrating women's sexual history as a veil for their massive and flaring insecurities at not feeling like a "special snowflake" themselves. It's truly laughable. If you were truly redpill, you would not fall victim to your massive insecurities. You would know your own value, and you would not allow other people's actions to affect your perceived worth.

This is just a veil for insecurity. It's a "male hamster", for rationalizing his insecurity of not feeling special. He sees himself as not special for having found out about all the sex she has had with other people. And to convince himself that this is not irrationality he casts judgment upon the woman as "inferior to him" or "not worthy of him". This allows him to fully justify his insecurities instead of owning them like a real man.

Finally someone who realizes the insecurity in this thread. Let's expect everyone's behavior to make me not insecure and call that "good behavior".

Discipline is just habit and will power coming together. Can you brush your teeth with your opposite hand? If so, you have willpower. If you exercise that willpower daily and consistently, you build discipline. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. In concept anyways.
