Gender roles don't fly with me. We in this together. You put 100% and I put 100%. Not this 100/50 bull.

It’s all good. I learned and grew from it. I don’t cry over spilled milk....

That’s what they do. The press and press and as soon as you can’t take it anymore and explode, they flip it on you. You are not alone!

That’s called gaslighting. It’s a manipulative tactic to deflect things. My ex-husband had his PHd in narcissism and this was one of his signature moves. He fucked with my head so badly that he’d be out doing things with other women and I’d feel guilty that the reason he was doing that was because I was not being a good wife. He would get mad at the smallest of things, I would feel guilty for not doing as he demanded of me. In bed, I felt like I had to oblige in order to keep the peace at times …

There are many of us who have never heard the words, “I’m sorry.” Too many of us... unfortunately. 🤯

They are incapable of empathy. It’s actually gross.

It’s infuriating to read how similar they all are. Too many of us have been in your shoes, feeling guilty for something that was well within our right to say no to. This is a tactic. This is manipulative moves to get us to do whatever they want. I’m sorry this happened to you. It definitely leaves a scar!

200%!! Needless to say, we are divorced now... 😜

True that... I have experienced this first hand. In my case, my ex would not apologize or attempted to. He wouldn’t even try. His way of apologizing was by initiating sex. And then get pissed when I turned him down as if it was within his right to take. Men are gross..

That Prenuptial wording might as well say: What’s mine is mine. What’s your is our. Sign X: ______________ Glad she was wise enough to walk away. POS.

Yup, pretty much what happened with me. I was told i would never make it with out him. Well, he was so wrong. Currently in the process of buying my own house, 1 year left to finish my masters, and well... I have a great job. Him, well.... that’s a whole other story!

Yes, of course. Sometimes society speaks louder in the ears of young men/boys. Still, we try our best to set examples for our kids.

Having a son teaches you the opposite. It teaches you that we have a responsibility to educate our sons on how they should treat women. If we leave it to the men, this world would be a complete shit show, not just a partial shit show. The few good men out there were once boys with mommas who did the right thing to educate their sons. (Yes, there are some good men. Not many, but some!)

Literally laughed out loud. My ex actually said this very same thing... 😂 you cannot make this shit up!

This is a great question to weed some of these abusers out.

Thanks. I don’t think I said anything wrong; I’m just not there for shits and giggles.

Thank you. Some have questioned my response as to say I asked for it. Unreal!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/07/20 11:44 PM

No kidding. It’s sad, really. Sad that there are women who fall that trap.

“Wow! What an arrogant catch he is”. said no self respecting woman.

I agree. And to be honest, I am using it as a social experiment. So far my theory has been correct. Men are all full of shit! All of them.

What? This app is geared for woman to message first. And yes, lucky to sleep in. He messaged me at 12pm. It’s called making conversation. I was not suggesting anything. Please do explain how YOU would have proceeded.

Oh my, if this doesn’t reek of abuser, I do not know what does. “So I could choke you”? I cannot even...

If being 6’0” is their only selling point, run! And don’t look back.

I could not agree more. I married young. Had two kids with a man who had literally NOTHING. We married, he leveled up while tearing me down. He is now with a much younger women; at least 20 years younger. It pains me to see, but I am also seeing that I can rebuild. He won’t even amount to much.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/07/20 11:06 PM
8

Indeed. It’s actually gross. To be fair, there are women who thrive when they hear that type of monkey lines. I can’t even fathom the thought. Like dude, I don’t even know you, why the hell would I want to cuddle with you?! 🤦‍♀️
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/07/20 11:02 PM

Oh no, the conversation ended there. He had nothing further to say after that. I called him out on his advances and well, he stopped responding. I laughed because this whole OLD has now become a social experiment for me. I like to see how far some of these men are willing to go. It’s comical, actually.

I have no idea. This was just today. I cannot make this up.

Absolute turn off. As if the pictures on the profile weren’t enough? WTF?!

Umm... nope! I have had the displeasure of meeting someone who had nothing. I built his ass up, and he drained me. Now I had to restart my life again while he’s in his comfy home. F’ THAT! Get on MY level or “boy, bye!”✌️ I am not here to clean up after no man. I am not here to be his secretary, maid, personal driver, none of that. Treat me like a queen, and I’ll treat you like a king. The second you treat me like a peasant, “c-ya, fucker!”

Sadly, there are some women who are intact attracted to this type of “douchery”

I do agree McDonalds is a classless first date. That’s being said, I’d be ok with a cup of coffee and a walk at the park as a first date. I am not there to eat, I am there to see if this person is someone who I am compatible with. The issue I have with this is not fast food. It’s the lack of creativity and effort.

Forgiveness is not synonym for reconciliation. I forgive you, but... Boy, bye!

Thanks. It was all good. I was assertive and definitely put him in his place. Just goes to show the level of psycho some men are. lol

I did this once. The guy got so upset. He even went as far as to create another Bumble account to catfish me. He was caught and reported. It’s tragic, but some times even honesty backfires!

I have actually said these words. We are now divorced. 😂 (my choice!)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/06/20 01:26 PM

Oh, no. That’s the problem. Ladies, once we lower our standards, all hell breaks loose! Stick to your standards and weed them out! The right one will eventually check off every one of those very basic standards.

Oh, hell no! My door is ALWAYS locked. We just do not know nowadays. And I have two daughters! They know.

Geezzz. He took a long time to decide... no way in hell!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/06/20 02:46 PM

“...but you’re different.” I wonder how many times he has used that line before?! 🤔 yeah, he sounds like a dick. Thank you, next. He may be “ugly” but his personality is trash. Get rid of him NOW!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/06/20 05:25 PM
2

He’s a POS. Leave his stingy ass NOW. Then send him a bill for wasting your time. 😂

Thanks. Tomorrow will mark my 1 year divorce anniversary. I’ll be celebrating with my girls! :)

Zero tolerance. The second he put his hands on me; I filed for a divorce. No questions asked. No remorse. My daughters needed to learn that, so I modeled it for them. I was not there to stroke his ego. He lost, and is now paying for the decision he made.
