Basically having multiple full time remote jobs and being efficient enough to get the work done within a reasonable timeframe. A lot of IT jobs pay well and are not on a clock in system, so you can reach all your targets and outputs and have another full time job on the side doing the same. A lot of employment contracts specifically forbid this, so you need to make sure one job doesn’t find out about the other.

Based on your story, I don’t think that separation was a bad idea. If she immediately dated the guy you suspected her of cheating with, she showed her true colours and allowed you to move on.
