Just a few months ago i ran out of my Gillette razor supplies(i had a bunch and rarely shave, usually use clippers to just trim up my beard) and went to the store. Remembered their ad, and bought this other brand called Van Der Hagen. Not only am I saving money, I actually prefer these now, its an old fashioned safety razor with disposable blades(the flat ones kinda like box cutters) i just use a fresh blade whenever i shave now and its so much better than gillettes dumbass 5 blade system.
