I can tell you in my experience doing cold approach that small talk and cliche “you come here often” type conversations get you nowhere unless she finds you hot enough to just make it super easy for you how do your convos look now in comparison, say in a bar? Opener, transition etc

My view on it is a bit different. I feel like the BELIEF in 'game' is at an all time low. Maybe because all we see are handsome dudes being chosen by girls on tinder and having blackpill shoved in our faces lol. Nobody really believes in like mysterymethod and game and the idea you can 'convince' a girl to be attracted to you if she wasn't before anymore, basically. That's the vibe I get on various PUA forums and stuff (at least the ones that still exist!) Problem is that even infields don't do …

what do you talk about/say in sets to hook girls who don't seem interested?

this is what confuses me. And it's not just on this sub but all PUA forums etc. It seems like my idea of the word 'seduction' is maybe a fairy tale! In my eyes, it's walking up too a hot 19 year old girl as an old ugly guy, and MAKING her attracted to you with your words and stuff. But when I read advice from the pros here and elsewhere, I start to wonder why we even need this sub? All advice is along the lines of 'approach. Tell her she's cute or go indirect instead if you like. If she's either…

I would say yes, it's worth it I'm on the ugly side. I'm not hideous, but i'm not handsome. I get ZERO luck with online dating. I average about 1 match every 3 months or so. That's not an exaggeration, btw. Legit numbers! But I have managed to bang a few girls from cold approach who are better looking than me. It still takes massive numbers game and most girls will dismiss me instantly since i'm not good looking enough for them (no matter how much 'game' and stuff I use on them) but the odds for…

thanks, man. Very interesting. I was starting to think maybe i'd been sold a pup with all this 'game' stuff, but i'd not really considered the idea that it could be a cultural thing and that the 'game' we all know about might not be fit for UK girls who, as many will testify, are very different when it comes to speaking with strangers compared too Americans. Thanks for the tips. How might you approach a girl (both by herself and with a friend) without having something like the excuse of returnin…

There was a PUA on youtube who I really liked who almost exclusively done grocery store daygame lol. He had more infields than anyone else, but he deleted them all after the big PUA scandal from that BBC program when youtube started deleting channels etc

lol - I do kind of know what you mean. Of course the regret of not approaching kind of eats away at you a bit, but you also have to remind yourself that you likely only missed out on a rejection lol. I don't mean that in a pessimistic way, but it's just reality unless you are maybe some Adonis! Even the pro's seem to get rejected the vast majority of the time. I think in our heads it stings more because, in hindsight, we just imagine it working out perfectly and having that beautiful girl naked …

In my group, it's basically ALL through work This used to confuse me a lot - especially as someone who's only ever gotten laid from complete cold approach on girls in bars and has never worked with girls (all my jobs have been manual labour working with dudes) I had a few friends who always seemed to be getting laid from girls at work. I was jealous. One guy in particular was banging tonnes of hot girls way younger than him. He's a good looking dude, but i'd never really seen him get laid with c…

yeah, in my experience the attractive 30's girls are usually way more receptive. It's the smoking hot teenagers/early 20's who look at you like you're on fire when you say 'hi', and are legit hostile and not remotely interested in talking to random dudes lol

Good post, man. I know if I didn't have approach anxiety, i'd get laid a fair bit more (but then I guess that's the case for all of us!) IN my 1st year of gaming my results were better than they are now. But I was approaching more then. My approach anxiety has actually increased over time which isn't good, and as a result, less approaches = less results I try to remind myself that of 2 things: 1/ being past experiences. When I feel completely unworthy of a much younger, much hotter girl, I remin…

I think in order to get girls literally throwing themselves at you, you really need to be next level handsome! I have a number of good looking friends, but only ONE of them literally has girls opening him, rubbing his chest, telling him how handsome he is, flat out offering him sex etc within seconds of meeting him etc etc. It's kinda rare. You'll likely have to do the heavy lifting, i'm afraid lol. Be happy that you are obviously handsome, though. That's gonna make this all very easy for you

It's not straight up seduction, I'm not certain where the line is between 'seduction' and just 'talking to strangers' sometimes, tbh. Is it things like using 'pushpull' and stuff? I've read a few PUA books and I often feel as though I already knew all of the information in the book, and already do that stuff (albeit I didn't have a name for them things) Or maybe the actual 'game'/seduction side of things is all about things like bodylanguage, eye contact etc (of course experts also often say 'wh…

I can definitely relate, man. I sometimes get the impression though, that if you actually saw one of these 'dating coaches' (who is like an encyclopedia of pickup) in action, you might be disappointed at his results tbh! Maybe they're giving us an unrealistic expectation of what's possible, and muddying the waters as, at the end of the day, this is how they make their money In other words, i'm starting to think that the important thing is actually the stuff that you can't really learn. It's just…

so rare to find this sort of post that acknowledges the cultural difference in practical terms in regards to pickup like somewhere like the UK I can't tell you how many times I had girls looking at me like I had something seriously wrong with me when i'd take PUA's advice and open girls by saying 'hi, I'm Chris'! lol. In the US, girls say ''Hi Chris, i'm Jenny. How are you?''. Here, girls look at you like you're on fire and then slowly move away! haha. I couldn't understand for MONTHS why I kept…

When did she stop being receptive? she kind of never really started being receptive lol. I mean, it was like how many 'rejection infields' i've watched look like sometimes, where the girl is talking, but you can just tell that she isn't interested or is maybe just finding the whole thing awkward? Kind of a 'polite NO GIRL' is how i'd maybe phrase it? It sounds like you were dropping lines then waiting for reactions. Yeah, I think some of the things I was saying was trying to kind of force in thi…

I don't understand. I'm not trying to push any narrative? I'm assuming you're aware of game and techniques etc? That's why I included them in my interaction since you asked for a specific interaction! I'm not sure what you wanted me to say lol I used each technique etc in the correct time according to various infields I've watched and programs i've bought

I'm hesitant to post specifics simply because from browsing others FR's, it tends to go like this: If he says that he opened direct and said 'hi, you're cute' or whatever, everyone replies ''Dude, that's why she rejected you. Always open indirect and with a neg!! Idiot!!'' If he opens indirect and gets rejected, everyone says ''Dude, never hide your intent with that oldschool mysterymethod BS! Tell her she's cute! She rejected you because she knew you were lying!'' And it carries on with all asp…

They just all compete for him tbh I actually tend to do a bit better if i'm with friends that are worse looking so that I probably look more handsome by comparison? Social proof would be if I was with a few really hot girls

Good job. I think nowadays people are way less friendly and social with strangers, tbh. (probably a result of smartphones, instagram etc etc) - Although the US is probably still the MOST friendly/social when it comes to cold approaching strangers so count yourself lucky That reaction you got where she just looks at you with confusion/disdain ('funny' as you put it) and then ignores you/walks away, is just the way it will often go and I think we have too accept it. But as you say, she will forget…
