I love Francis Chan. He's got some insanely good sermons on Youtube. His marriage videos, between his wife and himself, are so Red Pill it's not funny. Check out this one about praying/being a leader.

Thank you for the response! I've been reading up on TRP and everything a lot, but I gotta work on it more. My feelings were hurt, but I can totally see how saying that is grossly beta. I do have a main reason behind not spending Christmas/major holidays: I told her I don't want to until we are married. Reiterate that to her and just leave it at that?

As the SHAME takes hold of us and strengthens it's grip on us, more of our resistance particles are frozen into non-action. This is actually the stage where humiliation (and possibly guilt) are being morphed into full-blown SHAME. That is spot on. Awesome post!

Awesome! Are you discipling any of these teenagers or inviting them to hang out with you (to get a discipling relationship started? Absolutely! I have started to give lessons on guitar, and getting the one on one time has opened an opportunity to really show them that I care about them and I'm their friend and bring up how much I love Christ and why I write and sing worship songs. Third, Jesus talks so much about the weakness of human familial bonds that I don't even know how we include them in our priority list. That was my exact thought when I watched the video. In his sermon, Larry brought up that topic and said, "that spouse comes before being a pastor, or whatever it is you feel called of God to do."
