Problem with young men is that they get overstimulated in today's social media society plus that makes ADHD unbearable. Us older guy's gravitated to other interests such as sports, cars or bikes that develop useful skills.

58 here. Yup my mating instinct years are now behind me. It just didn't happen on account of life circumstances and the cards I was dealt. It's ok though the MGTOW life allows us so called 'enfranchised' men to be content haha ! I do my own thing and work 7/7 at my business if and when I feel the need or not.

I went into JW at your age looking for a "good Christian wife". I left burned out and depressed a few years later after being suckered into baptism. You are right on all counts, that unless you live up to their particular dogma you'll stay single. Forget about that angle unless you find one that believes but doesn't practice the religion actively.

Nothing to see here, orphan turned workaholic business owner was a little naive and vulnerable at the time. Got the shit end of the stick in life wanted to learn the Bible and keep my dick out of crazy.

Good post, yeah I was as blue pilled as they come back then too. Thing is I kind of joined JW ( Jehovah's ) looking for a good Christian wife. Very embarrassing to look back on, made a fool of myself many times over. Now mgtow lifestyle works for me, granted it's not for everyone. Most people don't get it but that's ok so I keep it to myself. Whitey's going to the moon ! :-)

Stellar post ! I know one guy mid sixties on third marriage. He CANNOT live on his own. His wife is basically his cleaning lady, cook and sidekick. He found a dumb one with a cute face and wide hips to run his errands.

Yup, relationshits haha ! I never really enjoyed being in them and always felt like I was in a threesome with the girl and social expectations totaling three. I hated it period teehee

Look into co-dependence, build your self up instead. I speak from experience in my mid fifties. Monk mode works great for me.

Good point, I've had to block a former mountain biking buddy, the guy is beyond dumb. Glad he moved away and took his egocentric personality with him. And about most people being dumb, took me decades to figure out..

58 never married nor co habitation. Running own machine shop business, own home no debt and lift weights ( deadlifted 275 last night, shooting for twice my body weight in a year ) mountain bike, xc ski skate, dirt bikes and 4Runner hobby. Adding new machinery at shop and always increasing my knowledge of cnc factory maintenance , welding and fabrication, heat treatment and the like. Plus save and re-home stray cats on the side. Been saving for retirement since my twenties, could have done better…

58 yo male here. Been sort of MGTOW all my life even starting in grade school. Would get these huge crushes on girls and hang with them only to find out they were a huge drag on my time and energies better spent elsewhere. By the time I was in my early twenties and had some income and stability I'd go to bars with friends looking for women. Met up with one I had met earlier and 'dated' for a month for sex. Huge letdown and I disliked her, no emotions involved was quite bland. Dated a few more ti…

58 year old here, my orphaned status at 15yo was a deciding factor in never getting married. Couldn't afford to loose, no leeway with the bad hand I was dealt with plus the anxiety and insecurities of my situation. Being cautious and knowing one's limits is not being a coward, it's called being realistic and prudent.

I could go on and on haha ! There was this place called Bourbon Street up north, huge, meat market and the late boomers would congregate there for pussy in RX7, Camaro Z28 and 944's. Illusion ! These guy are all divorced numerous times over now and most are grandfathers with all kinds of bullshit stories to brag about how they were the greatest studs ever and how today's generation has it all wrong lol

Stories from the machine shop : Pro-tip : If you are in the trades don't get married. Women have ZERO respect for tradesmen. If you go to uni the odds are a little better in finding a reasonable woman ( if any ) -My senior machinist, 68 years old immigrant from Morocco came over in early eighties. Married a Moroccan girl and sponsored her complete pious family to immigrate as well. Ended up costing him 40K as most were good for nothing leaches upon society and he signed on and backed them. Gover…

Laurentides, Québec. Québec is the simp capitol of the world haha ! It certainly seemed that way to me growing up as a gen X'er. As a matter of fact I came across a study that mentioned the average gen X'er would have 16+ partners in his lifetime where as gen Z it's less than half that.

I grew up and live-work in french canada where women have always been put on a pedestal. This thing about society at large considering you to obly be a 'real man' if you're dating or married has been around forever up here. I myself bought into it even though it made me extremely unhappy and anxious for the first 40 years or so of my life. I admit to doing some crazy self depreciating pussy begging shit in my twenties and thirties I'm still embarrassed about.. Took a massive burnout - depression…

Moroccan machinist over here at the shop same deal, dead bedroom co habitating with his wife, and his bro. in law divorced rape she called the cops on him left in handcuffs because he dared raise his voice from his wife screaming at him constantly. Your Muslim friend will have same fate, their women go crazy over here in north america due to more freedoms than homeland.

Saved, stellar post ! I lifted HEAVILY from 19 till about 24 and gained a solid 50-60 lbs muscle mass. Was repping 3 plates squat and 2 on bench back then at my best. Have had my own home gym with olympic plates past 25 years but have trouble staying regular on account of work, hobbies, home maintenance and cycling. Am 57 now and will be lifting till I die so need to make more time for it. Thanks for this timely reminder I'll get back into it starting now !!! Dumbells in my office do help.

Thanks for the mention of Jesus Christ as he's the only actual person I'd ever consider to be my hero or "idol" if you wish. When people bring up sports heros, stars or other persons of great importance or accomplishment as being thier 'idol' I find it cringe worthy. That said the other people you mentioned above certainly are great role models and worthy of respect and admiration. They sort of validate my having lived a mostly celibate 57 years of life so far and make me feel better about mysel…

Sweet step up, Ballsy ! How many runs at it till you finally went for it ? Sometimes I need to watch others or follow someone over for my first attempt. I need to work more on calculating distances.. In any event better to overjump than be short !

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
