Thank you for your effort. I also like that you dont plan dumb him and find another boyfriend. This would not be a good end, because he would just cut his future sons with another woman. I like that you intend to change his mind and protect YOURS sons form this stupid procedure.

The only benefit they truly believe there is is the reduction of UTIs, which I told you, only 1% of boys will suffer. In 2005, researchers found that to prevent one UTI, two babies would experience complications from the circumcision procedure. All the other benefits involve STDs, a problem baby boys will not deal with until puberty. At that point, the boy can easily decide if he wants his dick cut or not. BTW, I bet you cant name one single complication from circumcisions? have you heard about …

this is the same reason why girls in africa are still getting cut. To please the men in the village. Boys should be protected from unnecessary surgeries.

These opinions of the medical associations say nothing new here. There are risks (we knew that), there are some benefits (we knew that too). No there are not, only 1% of uncut baby boys will ever have a UTI, (those are CDC numbers) all the others 99% will not. Tell me any other newborn surgery that will be advised with such low necessity? you wont find it. Infant circumcision is about cutting a piece of the boy genitals so it can look like the father. Its a cosmetic surgery performed on a infant…

But that doesn't change the fact that generally speaking, the medical world believes that the benefits outweigh the risks in most cases and that circ can be done without detriment to the patient's life. only, the medical world DOESNT believe that. USA is the only developed country that supports circumcision for newborn babies. All the other developed countries are against. In fact the medical world is against circumcision on infants. Canada, Germany, Japan, Australia, Sweden, Denmark, Finland an…

thats not true. vaccines are a huge success for medicine, you know pretty well that in the past if you got a cut you could easily die from tetanus (a horrible death), today this is no longer a problem. There are plenty of people who are not vaccinated and are healthy (or healthier) than we are. yeah, because the rest of us is vaccinated, search herd immunization. As soon as the rates starts to plumb the deceases will emerge, California is prove of that. All it need was that a small part of the k…

but vaccines are necessary? if children arent vaccinated deceases will emerge, circumcision is completely unnecessary. Not to mention, if you live in a developed country, circumcision causes more damage than protection. Europe has 90% of their men uncut, and they have less STDs and 3 times less HIV than US (a country where most men are cut). There is a reason no other rich and developed country supports circumcision for newborn babies and its because the risks outweights the small benefits.
/r/MensRights10/03/15 09:39 PM

the problem is that your circumcision was fine and you didnt suffer any complication, thats why you cant see it the big deal. But imagine if your penis had been damaged, all because your parents wanted your genitals to look better. Its beyond fucked up. This is not medically necessary, no newborn baby should have their genitals cut off just because all the other boys have too. also, its a very painful procedure, newborns cant receive much anesthesia, so they do it almost raw, many babies stop br…

lets be real, if this was happening to girls it would be riots on NY streets, but its on boys so who cares.

yet Europeans have less STDs than all USA. Funny how foreskin is not a problem there.

Threads like these always makes me happy because in the 80's and 90's people would just circumcise their sons without giving a second thought, but now, at least now parents are searching and debating if cutting a piece of their son's penis is ok or not. First of all this is a very painful procedure, anyone who watched a circumcision video knows that its a brutal experience for the baby and most of the hospitals in US dont bother with anesthesia. This procedure, does have risks, if you search pen…

I know why you think this way and I promise wont attack you. You live in a society where circumcision is normal and everyone you know its probably circumcised. I will just point out that it is unnecessary, all the benefits of circumcision can be achieved my washing the penis and using condoms. And unlike many say it DOES have risks and complications and its your son who will deal with those complications, not you. I really wish the men here could participate on baby forums where mothers discuss …

you know, if this was in the 80's or 90's this poll would probably be 80% to 20% supporting circumcision, now its almost 55% to 45%. We are reaching the middle point where people no longer think its ok to circumcise boys as soon as they are born. It takes time, you have all the society and media pushing circumcision as a positive thing. In the next decade you will see it that more babies will be left intacts.

try restoration man, no, it wont be the same BUT at least the scar will disappear as the skin grows. You wont be able to see it everyday as you go to bathrooms and gets naked. Do it man, all the guys on the restoration sub said that it was a world difference.

I agree with you, private its better. But I still think that if was beneficial they would indicate. But I guess we will never know. Dont get me wrong, I find cut dicks beautiful, I am not a hater, I just think the boy should have a pick.

thats because you grew up living in a society where all problems in a man penis are solved with circumcision. Where I live only 1% of men will have phimoses and maybe 2% of the male population will need the procedure. People keep on telling, I prefer do it when I was a baby instead as an adult, like all uncircumcised men will have problems when in fact this doesnt happens at all. But I get it why you prefer you cute dick, lol.

Didng, ding, ding, we have a winner. That’s exactly why this procedure still happens in US, circumcision generates more 1 billion of dollars for US hospitals and doctors yearly, that’s why they still promote as a healthy procedure. Look, Europe has the best public health care of the world, if doctors in Denmark thought that circumcision truly saved lives and prevented deceases they would totally promote because preventive health its important in Europe, they do care, but they saw it that for eve…

errr, those numbers are not true. Today the numbers on circumcision on Australia are between 10% to 15% and the Australian government banned the procedure to happen in public hospitals (thats how much they think its useless), Canada also cut public money from funding circumcision and their pediatrician community declared the procedure not necessary, less than 30% of the boys now are being circumcised. Of course that those numbers are not zero, because in a place where tons of parents and grandpa…

where did you get that Australia does circumcision? they dont, only 10% of baby boys are circumcised there, and South Korea and South Africa do it for traditional reasons, they dont do it for medical reasons. I get it that many dont think its a big deal, but unfortunately there are a few boys that do have botched experiences and all that parents can do it its say "opsss, sorry" . Thats the problem I have it, if it goes badly its not the parents that suffer the consequences, its the fucking boy w…

1% of uncircumcised men will have a UTI infection, 1% !!!!!!! In fact 1 to 3% of circumcised boys will have some kind of complications, including guess what? infections. Its not beneficial.

how can you say that circumcision its beneficial when US (and Israel) its the only civilized country that does it? why is that Denmark, Germany, Japan and others refuse to do in their boys and they are healthier than american boys? If circumcision was so beneficial why is that no other rich country uses this procedure?

This is a nurse in USA, butchering a boy penis during circumcision, in US you do not need to be a doctor to mutilate babies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1kSx4TkuRo

thats not true, even nurses can performer them, in US its not considered a serious procedure, you know, its just a male genitalia, so who cares.

Here, take a look, http://www.advocatesforyouth.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=419&Itemid=177 How in name of God can you say that circumcision prevents HIV, when 80% of US male population its circumcised yet you have one of the highest rates of HIV infected men from industrialized countries? are Europeans prude and dont have risk behavior? do they not use drugs? whats is that happens in Europe that the men there are able to have foreskin and STILL be healthier than americans? where are you getting those numbers? serious, in some research done in Africa? or some small group in Haiti? let me show real numbers. Europe has a 90% rate of uncircumcised men, for the last few decades they do not performed the procedure in their boys, YET, they have less STDs rates than USA and 3 times less HIV infected men than US. How can people use the circumcision prevents HIV excuse, when the rest of the civilized world doesnt cut their boys and they are still healthier than americans?

no, this is another lie, the do it raw because its cheaper and faster, with anesthesia they need to wait 5 to 10 minutes for the meds to kick in, this makes the procedure last almost half hour. Doctors and hospitals simply can bother waste that much time, they dont give a shit about the baby since "he wont remember" I am not making this up, that has been their number one response when asked why they dont use anesthesia. I will say that there are few doctors out there that truly care about their …

First of all its a painful procedure done in a baby with no consent what so ever. Second of all, contrary to what doctors say to parents circumcisions have a 1 to 3% rate of complications that goes to hemorrhage, adhesion, bridge skins and damage from removing too much skin, all causes painful sexual experiences for the boy or young men (remember its not the parents who will live with the fucked up penis), several boys have to go through a second surgery to fix the botched circumcision. Last the…

Today, the percentage of circumcised males in Australia ranges in estimates from 10-20%, with approximately 60% in America and 6% in the UK (Royal Australasian College of Physicians) http://www.huggies.com.au/baby-care/health/circumcision/ a big map http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Global_Map_of_Male_Circumcision_Prevalence_at_Country_Level.png Not sure if the map is outdated.

are you serious? if tomorrow he heard about a village in South America that cuts the girl's labia so that they could look like their moms or the village tradition we would be disgusted, but people dont blink an eye when its a boy on US.

Oh My God, its 1 am in my country right now, give me a minute I will look up. But in the mean time try google or just go to /r/Scotland or /r/Germany or /r/Japan and ask the people who live there.
/r/MensRights14/08/14 04:31 AM

are you really serious? or are you trolling me? Canada circumcision is on down size now, in fact its 30% or less and its going down every year. Latin America doesnt circumcise, its not done in Asia either (except Philippines, but its something to do with religion there) and in Europe its not normal either, ask any european guy, the rates there are lower than 10% . I thought everybody knew this? thats why its so weird. what rich country do you think it circumcise their boys as healthy issue? only…
/r/MensRights14/08/14 04:23 AM

I thought this was common knowledge? Thats why the rest of the world finds so weird that US still cut their boys, since you guys are intelligent and well educated, in fact only Africans use circumcision as a health protection. At least Israel has the religion as excuse.

have you ever watched a circumcision? did you know that most hospitals dont even bother giving the baby an anesthesia? they do it raw since he wont remember.

its no even a serious STDs protection, US has 80% male population cut, yet they have some of the highest rates in STDs and HIV. 3 times more than Europe who hardly has any cut men.

This is what kills about this, its how ignorant americans are about this subject. You speak as if circumcision its a trace of civilized men, yet, all the other industrialized countries dont cut their boys and they still are healthier than americans. Japan has a 98% uncircumcised population and they have the some of lowest numbers in the world of HIV infected men.
/r/MensRights14/08/14 03:46 AM

but thats the problem, civilized countries DONT circumcise, only US. Germany doesnt do it, nor Sweden, or Japan, South Korea, Spain, UK, Denmark, Holland, France, Belgium, or Australia, you name it and they all have better number in STDs and HIV than US. How can prevent deceases when the rest of the civilized world doesnt do it, YET they are healthier than americans?

A majority of people around the world believe that it's easier to maintain the cleanliness of a circumcised penis than an uncircumcised penis [source: WHO] The majority of people believe that a circumcised penis is more attractive, or, more importantly, more attractive to other people." hummm, the majority of the world doesnt circumcise their boys, latin america, Europe and Asia dont do it. Only USA, some african countries and Israel. 80% of male population around the world is intact.

vaccinations protect kids and adults, circumcisions has NO medical benefits, none. People will talk about STDs and AIDS and it makes no sense at all. 93% of Europe is not circumcised, yet they have low numbers of STDs and their HIV infected population its 0.2%. United States has a 80% circumcised population, yet you have higher STDs numbers and your HIV population its 0.6%, three times Europe. How the hell the idea that circumcision prevents deceases has been so accepted by intelligent and well …

have you ever confronted you parents about this experience? I know its culture, but Jesus, I dont get it how parents are ok with non anesthesia circumcisions on boys. Even Americans parents just shrug off and say, yeahh, its bad.Like its completely acceptable.
