I’m not sure what advice can be offered. You’ve found a woman whose company you value more than anything else in your life—your material possessions, your piece of mind, and your freedom to decide your own course. Anything you value that much WILL carry the price of everything else you have. Either change your values, or pay the bill, right? Oh, and once you’ve paid the bill, you’ll have no other currency, so you’ll lose her, too.

I apologize to people (including women) when I make a mistake because I want to put my head on the pillow every night knowing that I’m a man that’s aware of my actions, whether they measure up to who I want to be, and how they affect other people.
