And I say that as a 5'8" man who is married with a kid.

I promise you, you care about your height WAY more than the women you're looking to date.

Most Redditors misuse downvotes. They're not for things you dislike, they're for things which don't add to the discussion of the post.

if you're easily offended by everything I'm not. No idea where you pulled this nonsense from. Apologize and tell you that they'll never say such a joke again? If they have integrity, yeah. Or they'd downvote and make some sarcastic quip. Doesn't bother me because I'm not easily offended or bothered by what others think. Funny, that. These people shouldn't feel forced to place a trigger warning each time they make a joke you know I never asked for a trigger warning. Whine louder, I don't think th…

It wasn't a joke. People in this thread were in favor of outing people they dislike. No. Outing people is ALWAYS wrong.
/r/ExRedPill11/08/24 01:36 PM
2

None of that matters. Someone else being a shit person doesn't justify you acting like a shit person. Not sure what you don't get about that. Outing anyone is wrong. Always. Regardless of who or why. I don't care that it isn't me being outed. NO ONE should ever be outed. Period. End of.
/r/ExRedPill18/07/24 09:20 PM
1

No, it fucking isn't. Are you a queer person? Have you been outed before? Because I am and I have.
/r/ExRedPill18/07/24 07:50 PM
2

Because as someone who was outed MULTIPLE times, outing is always wrong..I don't care who you're outing, no one in a closet deserves to be outed. Ever. I don't give a fuck who they are or what they did. It's never okay.
/r/ExRedPill18/07/24 07:38 PM

Yes, it is. It is always unethical to out people. Period. I don't care who they are or what you think justifies it. Outing someone is wrong. Always.
/r/ExRedPill18/07/24 06:19 PM

I don't care. Someone else doing wrong, horrible, unethical shit doesn't justify me doing the same.
/r/ExRedPill18/07/24 05:48 PM

Can we just not? Speculating about someone's sexuality means that at best, you're wrong...at worst you're outing someone who clearly doesn't want to be.

Psychedelics just make it easier to forge new and different pathways in your brain. The new pathways you forge are entirely up to you. I mean, Joe Rogan is famous for doing tons of psychedelics, didn't make him less of an RP-lite douchebag. If anything I'd argue it ADDS to his douchbagginess

It's enough to make me want to meet these RP bros and tell them to SUCK A DICK, DUMB SHITS!
/r/ExRedPill06/07/23 12:47 AM
31

Because RP is, ideologically, not all that different from "libertarian" beliefs about capitalism and free markets. They see life as a zero sum game, which is to say, if someone gets a thing, that means I can't also get that thing, so I need to fight them for it to make sure they don't get it, so I can. They'll claim it pushes people to improve, like saying competition "makes businesses innovate" but really what it fosters is a crabs in a bucket mentality where everyone drags each other back down…

I was actually hoping for examples of what this "common sense" dating advice is. I wasn't saying or suggesting that she's RP. That said, some RPers are more subtle. Not everyone is Alex Jones. Some people are Jordan Peterson. Some won't even openly admit they're redpill even though they know damn well they are. Can't take bad faith actors at their word, that's a fool's errand.

But she's obviously grifter Anyone who calls themselves a "dating coach" is an obvious grifter.
/r/ExRedPill03/07/23 03:48 PM

Exactly. Dating isn't a fucking sport, it's human connection. Anyone who calls themselves a "dating coach" clearly doesn't know WTF they're talking about, you can't coach people on dating because dating is incredibly specific to each pair of people. I'm polyamorous and have multiple partners beyond my wife, I can assure you, every single person I date is different and if I tried to apply blanket/general dating advice to all of them, I'd be incredibly unsuccessful. The "trick" is to be yourself, …

/r/ExRedPill03/07/23 03:44 PM

IMO: If you're listening to someone who calls themselves a "dating coach" you've already lost the plot. Dating isn't a damn sport. It's human connection. Why anyone would want to manipulate others into dating them is beyond me, in what universe is that a recipe for a stable, long term relationship?

despite always having been about integrity and preaching how he likes being married etc Neither of those things are inherently RedPill, but neither are those two things and RedPill mutually exclusive. I have a serious problem with Tate referring to women as his property, and also saying that if a women in a relationship has an onlyfans she needs to give the man most of the income. Who thinks like this. TONS of men think like that sadly

I was lumping them in with the toxic, body shaming people. I guess one could argue that people who just have a size fetish or whatever aren't that, fine. The point is, those people are genuinely FAR more rare than you probably could imagine. And really, if someone's only idea of the difference between good sex and bad sex is dick size...they're probably not very fun to have sex with anyway because that's a REALLY simplistic view of sexual pleasure.
/r/ExRedPill22/07/22 08:52 PM
9

I'm a polyamorous bisexual person who regularly attends play parties where all manner of sexing happens. The only person who cares about your size, is you. I mean, sure, there are toxic, body shaming people out there, that's for sure, but they're FAR less common, especially in terms of dick size shamers, than you've been lead to believe.
/r/ExRedPill21/07/22 10:12 AM

Anyone who uses the phrase "body count" to mean something other than "number of people I've killed" is instantly unimpressive to me. Not that them being a multi-murderer would be impressive to me either, but at least then using the phrase wouldn't be completely disgusting.

Wolves don't operate under an alpha beta dynamic? Nope. That study only applied, it turns out, to wolf pack dynamics in captivity. Not in the wild. The author of that original wolf study himself tried to replicate the experiment in the wild and realized he was horribly wrong in his initial assessment. What about in chimps? Not sure, I'm pretty sure I've heard of various primate species being matriarchal though FWIW.

Why are you coping so hard my friend? Until we can all accept men and women are extremely different physiologically and psychologically, the world will be a better place. Lol, can't wait for you to say "copium" unironically too. You could almost pass for an RP bot at this point you're so formulaic and predictable. Also, I never once said that men and women don't/can't/shouldn't have differences, what are you on?

Lol, you're actually doing the whole "that's like asking a fish how to catch a fish" nonsense unironically. Hilarious. Bruh, women are human beings. Not dogs or fish. Your "analogies" are moronic nonsense based on clever sounding pseudoscience.

Working on 4 years married to a woman I've known and lived with over a decade. Oh, and she plays roller derby, so the vast majority of the people in her/our life through the derby community are women. It's hilarious how demonstrably wrong your assumptions are though.

I struggle to understand why men and women won’t admit to preferring gender roles. Because just because you subscribe to that bullshit doesn't mean everyone else does, should, or is obliged to. The fact that you're comparing a human partner to a pet in the first place is hilariously ridiculous.

FDSers aren’t actually femcels. They’re highly intelligent women maximizing their sexual strategies in a slightly more narcissistic way. Bahahaha. You sure you're in the right place? You don't sound particularly ex RP. Most of the things they say ARE true Well that's patently false lol. They ALWAYS have to submit to their man. They hate to admit it, but love to do it. Seriously, I'm usually the "context matters" guy, but like...under what context does sharing that in a published book as a supposed doctor and expert make ANY logical sense? Even if that dream was key to him figuring out some huge, universal truth about human nature, a good writer can come up with a less "what the actual fuck" way of making that point.

Could try an undercut, doesn't have to be super extreme. Also, if your face is chubby, I'd HATE to know what people think of mine. Your face isn't chubby. Women are people. People like EVERYTHING. That's REALLY oversimplified...but the simple reality is, if someone says "women only like this kind of body/personality/etc" they're ALMOST certainly wrong and at best MASSIVELY overgeneralizing. Many women like feminine looking men. My bi wife ADORES femme and androgenous men.

If I say I want a big family and a stay at home wife will the dating pool get smaller too?? I mean, those are two different things. Saying you want a big family...who knows what impact that would have on the dating pool...but the reality is, a LOT of humans want to have kids and start a family one day, so you saying a flat out no to that is going to limit the people who are interested in you, sorry, that's just basic logic. I'm here as a 23 year old virgin so ya'll can understand how I think women and attraction is such a nebulous, foreign concept to me. I was nearly 22 when I lost my virginity, FWIW. At 33 I still usually feel this way...but I'm now learning, as a married polyamorous man with a girlfriend now also, that that's NOT true. In reality? NOTHING. It is based on a theory from a study of wolf pack behaviors among wolves in captivity. After it was published into a book, the researched subsequently tried to replicate his results in the wild...and couldn't. Turns out it was just something that wolves in captivity do for some reason. I almost wonder if Daniel Sloss might be a good "gateway comedian" for some RP guys too. He's VERY MUCH not an "SJW liberal cuck"; he has a whole bit about his sister who had cerebral palsy and died when she was 7, it SLAYS while being incredibly graceful and respectful. He really shatters the notion that being a feminist, in practice if not in label, and being respectful of others' feelings/cultures/traumas/etc doesn't mean you can't make jokes about damn near anything. This is a short, somewhat snarky answer, but frankly, the simplest answer to me is internalized homophobia mixed with the fact that to most human beings, if societal pressures to be hetero weren't there, ass is ass and a lot of men don't know how to reconcile looking at other men with they warped sense of what masculinity supposedly is.

You have absolutely zero right or reason to call her a liar. but there's nothing in the movie that specifically relates this to being trans. It's also not just an allegory for that, Lilly has flat out said that is an allegory for what she was going through at the time as a closeted trans person: The Matrix films are about being transgender, the trilogy's co-director says. "That was the original intention but the world wasn't quite ready," says Lilly Wachowski, who came out as trans along with her sister Lana after the films came out. This was what the Wachowski Sisters pushed almost 20 years after the movie was released. It was true 20 years ago, they just didn't feel safe talking about it. Lilly has said so in interviews. Maybe you took it as a metaphor for control, but that doesn't change the intent the trans author/director had for the film. https://www.bbc.com/news/newsbeat-53692435 The Matrix films are about being transgender, the trilogy's co-director says. The pill allegory is about their battle with gender dysphoria. Not just that; but also the internal struggle almost every LGBT+ person faces when they finally accept the truth about themselves: do they stay in their "blissfully ignorant" life where everyone thinks they are cishet and they hide their true selves from the world...or do they take the red pill and see how deep the rabbit hole of their sexual and gender identity goes?

There's also the fact that Lilly has literally come out and said, in no uncertain terms, that it was intentionally written as an allegory for trans people because of the direct experiences she was having as a closeted trans person at that time.

Yeah I definitely think people can be ethically and happily non-monogamous, but that isn't for me personally. I don't really enjoy sex with people I don't love. Neither do I, I just don't believe that my capacity for loving another person ends at one person. And that's fine. No one is trying to tell you, or anyone, they should be ENM.

I don't think you really get it. The reason I made effort is because I liked spending time with her and I wanted her to be my girlfriend, not just for sex. No argument here. I haven't once argued that radical feminists aren't feminists. I have stated the fact that FDSers, transphobes (otherwise colloquially called TERFs), sex worker exclusionists (otherwise colloquially called SWERFs), are not radical feminists. They can claim to be all they want, but they, by the definition of feminism, are not feminists, much less radical feminists. So, yes, radical feminists are feminists. Too bad FDSers aren't radical feminists no matter how much they claim to …

Yes, because in the same comment where I called them "SWERF and TERF" I explained that neither SWERFs, nor TERFs, are feminists, no matter how much they claim to be. the RF part of the names came from THEM. THEY claimed to be RadFems, so the acronyms were based off of that. There's actually a lot of people who want to call TERFs FARTs instead (Feminism Appropriating Rad…

It's just mostly irrelevant to a man trying to navigate the dating space. When many modern women are feminists, it really isn't actually. Feminism isn't dating advice, nor is it meant to be; but in my experience, all my feminist bros have no problem dating because women don't fear being around them or constantly get disrespected by them. Maybe try that?
/r/ExRedPill01/06/21 01:44 PM

Maybe just try respecting other human beings and you'll realize you don't need specific, "purpose built" dating advice. Why are you so hung up on needing dating advice? The reality is, there's no one way to "date" correctly. Just be a person that people like being around. Seems like that's your issue currently. When people actually like being around you, it isn't hard to find someone who wants to be around you romantically.

If he thinks he's entitled to sex as a trauma response to hist own rape...he's still entitled and needs to work on that. The industry in terms of how the content is produced? Absolutely. Long since overdue for regulatory overhaul (and ending the prohibition) of sex work. But no to additional regulation/censorship on the content that is actually produced, so long as all involved are consenting adults (again, in MAJOR need of regulatory overhaul). Nevermind the fact that it would violate 1A and be shot down immediately.

No no no, we absolutely do not need censorship of porn to stop incels. Porn does not create incels any more than video games create mass shooters. Now, as for how that content is CREATED AND PRODUCED, absolutely we need far more regulation over that to protect the workers in the industry. But BIG pass on censoring/regulating the content itself, not only will that not solve the problem, it is a violation of 1A I cannot get behind.
/r/ExRedPill27/05/21 07:23 PM

Porn is the root of that entitlement. Incels consume a lot of porn. This is such an oversimplified and reductive argument. Just like how plenty of men and boys get bullied without becoming incels...PLENTY of people consume porn without becoming entitled in this way in the least. Does that entitlement sometimes stem from incels' porn consumption? Sure. Saying that that entitlement ALWAYS comes from porn is not only incorrect, but serves no purpose in terms of exredpilling.

Thanks for the info. FWIW, these studies suggest a link between obesity and lowering T; but not remotely enough to state it as a known fact or "common knowledge". They believe that the lowered amounts are because of obesity, but they haven't proven it either. And that distinction is important. Just because a study, or even a few, point to a possibile link doesn't mean we can just say "yep, we have X because Y" and move on. There's evidence to suggest that male T levels have been decreasing year …

Again, my issue wasn't the point you were making, but rather the ridiculous and immature way you went about saying it. And whether or not you intended it that way is irrelevant.

There's different types of sheep, and different groups of people. Conforming to certain values will give you shitty results. Hence why I said don't listen to these sheep. Lol, you're cute. No amount of your mental gymnastics will change what a sheep is though: a follower, part of the flock, a conformist. You're telling people to "not listen to the sheep" and then telling them to listen to you...a conformist sheep. However there are other values where if you conform/become a sheep to those values…

Sad that you're getting downvotes when you're right. Masturbation isn't the enemy. I mean, sure, too much of ANYTHING is unhealthy...but take away porn and how many dudes are yanking it until their dick is raw? Not that many, if any.

But you can fap without porn, so the problem is porn, not fapping.

The problem with nofappers is that they want to see themselves as victims, so they don't admit that the core issue is a porn addiction. Not that that makes them evil or bad or anything. Addictions and vices are as human as breathing. But the first step to truly ending an addiction is acknowledging it, and nofappers largely don't.

Hegre-art makes some good stuff. There are others, but I don't consume a ton of mainstream porn these days so I'm a bit less in touch. There's lots of porn in the creator led spaces like OF which is much more realistic and far less toxic. It's not the norm, but it's out there.

I think general socializing (with guys) can help a lot. Granted, I'm missing the context of the original comment here, but why does that socializing need to be limited to "with guys"? What's the benefit/necessity there? Cause besides not being obese, and not eating too unhealthy, its not a lot that acctually changes testosterone. A workout boost it yes, but it wont neccesarily get caut by your brain Got any science to clarify this? I'm a bit lost as to what you're claiming.
/r/ExRedPill18/02/21 10:24 PM

I'm sorry, can you link to multiple peer reviewed studies which show that: Men have less testosterone than past generations This is due to obesity Not calling you a liar, but you stated it like it was a fact everyone knows and that's not the case.

He also buys into the "alpha male" pseudoscience bs, so anyone watching him should be aware and take those bits with a massive grain of salt at least.

I mean, being a "less toxic" redpiller is like having lung cancer instead of pancreatic. Like, sure, it's "better" but does the distinction really matter at that point? It's still cancer.

I said "primates" not "primitive Thats just worse wording. Imagine yearning for millions of years ago when the human species didnt even exist. Same shit as i wrote but somehow even worse. Do you know what happened to the last man that yearned going back to being a monkey and having carefree sex?? Yeah we got the aids epidemic. Holy fuck, you've now gone from just garden variety ignorant to genuinely damaging with your language. Please stop spreading this bullshit. Go read a real book about human…

What exactly about monogamy is evolved? And yes, I saw your STI article...but then I remembered that it is perfectly possible to have multiple, regular sexual partners without contracting any STIs, and as such "STI prevention" is not actually an evolutionary argument for continuing monogamy as the assumed norm in 2021 and beyond.

Fellow non-monogamist here, I agree that FAR too many people think that monogamy is the only option and then wonder why it never works for them. Shame you were downvoted without actually being engaged in a discussion, but can't say I'm surprised.

We could stop desiring to own and control the actions of our partners...but I'm a married polyamorous man, so I understand I'm biased. Have you ever genuinely asked yourself what you gain in your life or relationship from sexual exclusivity? I'm not saying you're wrong for wanting it, I'm genuinely asking if you've ever asked yourself WHY you want sexual exclusivity...or has it just been something you've been told to want/need?

Which ideas specifically? Most of the ones I've heard are nonsense, like the idea that men and women can't be just friends.

Had i accepted things like having female friends was JUST FINE, Umm, I'm sorry, what? Are you saying that men having female friends is not okay? genuine desire ISN’T VITAL IN A RELATIONSHIP, Umm, wut? Who says that? That's stupid nonsense. taking everything coming from a woman’s mouth without a pinch of salt, Oh, oh wow, you're just gonna come right out and say the sexist part out loud, aren't you? etc etc etc, i would have guaranteed a pretty sad, pickup-the-crumbs-off the ground type of life f…

It's because women aren't a monolith. Not every woman thinks or acts the same...so just because we encounter a few who buy into stupid societal standards for men doesn't mean that ALL women buy into that. What you've described is textbook toxic masculinity. Women are sometimes guilty or perpetuating toxic masculinity; but as you're seeing here, it is FAR more often perpetrated by other men than by women, hence why you've seen more support for your vulnerability from women.

Could be the gross, crass, and sexist language that was used, like "most young chicks don't know what a real man is" or that women learn what a "real man" is from rap videos... whatever the fuck that nonsense is supposed to mean. Juuuuust a thought.

and I view women who fall for Bad Boys and their slimy approaches and anti-social behavior, as being weak and just as useless. If I liked a woman and did some checking and found a Bad Boy in her past -- I had no desire to even touch her, much less date her, or God forbid enter a relationship with her. I was gone. Well, I WAS with you, and then you came out with this toxic nonsense, so that's a big nope from me dawg.

Just gonna tack on that it's good you don't buy into the "alpha" thing since it is based on completely bunk science and is utter nonsense in relation to human beings.
