I don’t get it.. how is this pussypassdenied? Just sounds like bitter guy saying bitter things aka good ol’ misogyny. Then again I have no idea what she is saying in her original tweet so maybe I’m missing the context here.

Visual comprehension must not be your strong suit. There are 4 women out of 30+ mayors in the photo. Women make up at least 50% of voters. Yet they are represented only about 12%. I would say that, statistically, just looking at the numbers, taking any sort of political narrative out, that that qualifies as underrepresentation.

I actually voted against affirmative action in my state (CA) and not once did I advocate for the filling of positions by ‘under represented groups’. Internalized self-misogyny is a thing. That’s the hurdle for women, is my point.

Wow.. y’all are either stupid or obtuse. There are many women in the world who hold misogynistic views due to the male-dominant society most of us grow up in. The point of bringing up underrepresentation of women in positions of power are not just a simple ‘hur dur men bad men no give women power’, it’s more of an argument that women have to actively fight against the ingrained culture and beliefs held by both men and women that say they would rather see a man in those positions of power. If you…

Washing dishes is not even a gender issue. It's more like being a responsible adult issue.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
