2	Effects of playing piano at parties Actually I find it kind of interesting that you ask this. I do have tried playing some jazz/blues from the 50's such as Bing Crosby. It doesn't give me as much of an effect as classical music does, and I think this has to do with the fact that classical music is what I'm the most passionate about and therefore it is easier for me to express my feelings when playing (e.g it becomes more "romantic").
