I know Krav Maga. She could have struggled using her legs and elbows. Using the legs she could be able to make him lose his balance, and the elbows could do some damage to his body. I think the main problem is that she kind of froze. I strongly recommend doing some sort of martial arts or self-defense class, to diminish your chances of freezing in such a situation. edit: she could also have used the back of her head to hit his head

I went to a strip club once... I was a libfem in my early 20s, visiting a country with legalized prostitution. I noticed a gay stripbar with a "women's night" on, so I gave it a try. I find the differences between a male and female strip club striking: - The most the men undressed was unzipping the pants, but not taking it off. So they were just shirtless. - They barely used the strip pole, and didn't do any degrading acts on it. - I could pay more to get a 'private session'.... but a woman woul…

I started getting harassed by men at around 10. I was nerdy, tomboy and awkward (Aspergers) as a teen, so I barely got any attention from boys my age (except to bully me, I was heavily bullied by boys in highschool). But I got plenty of 'attention' from older men... Initially I was kind of happy about it since my self-esteem was so low, but I quickly noticed this attention was worthless and dangerous. At around 22 I got a pixie haircut and got bulkier, so I became a bit more invisible, because m…

I have an under-performing and socially inept male colleague who argued with our manager that he wanted to work over the holidays because he had nothing to do at home. He is almost 40 and lives with his parents. He sure as hell is not helping them at all if he 'has nothing to do'. These men are a disappointment.

“About 43% of partnered women have completed at least a bachelor’s degree compared to a third of single women.” He speculates that women may be going to college in greater numbers because it helps them attract a partner in the same way it helps men. “Not only are they rewarded in the labor market with higher earnings, but increasingly, partnership also depends on educational attainment.”' I liked the article a lot, but this last part is despicable... No matter how many decades pass men keep thin…

I think this guy is either lying, condescending or delusional if he really thinks he can match your income in a few years, starting from zero. It is not feasible unless he is counting on a streak of luck. I also agree with the others that his actions doesn't show that he is serious about being a provider. If you are keen on having children with a provider husband, he is not it. He may be ok as a forever boyfriend or as a househusband (but vet him even more carefully if you decide on this path).

"What is your answer to people who think that you outdated or immature or possessive for choosing an exclusive relationship?" I just say that me and my husband are very satisfied with each other. I feel no need to further explain, and it is a pretty good way to shut them up. Also, I never mention my poly past, it is not beneficial to me at all (except to discourage girls who are thinking about giving it a try)..

Ex-polyamorous here... I am still very poly in the sense that I am totally capable of loving and desiring more than one man. However, after a few years of trying it in my marriage I noticed it is a scam worst than casual sex, and we closed our relationship. Just like in casual sex, you have way more cons than pros: low chance of orgasm, risk of violence, pregnancy, STIs... with a few extras: - if my husband had a female lover, she was a whore. If I had a male lover, I was a whore. Ie.: the woman…

Initially I thought that these men were treating women as objects, but now I noticed that it is worse than objects, because people actually care about not damaging the objects that they buy. The men in these reviews even damage and hurt these women on purpose...

I have been thinking this for a while now. I had a group of male friends for 10+ years. Initially they all were studying something at college, but then after graduating or dropping out most of them went into this "dream job or no job" mindset. What pisses me off even more is that most of them have had plenty of opportunities, PLENTY. A few got good jobs handed to them by family members, or had an easy path to management positions, and then left because 'it does not pay enough', 'I am too stresse…
