Yeah, I was more asking for ideas on where and how. Like would inviting girls to my room scare them off? Is drinking and chilling a good enough excuse?

How do you even go about getting girls to buy you drinks?

For doing nothing? The sucker is the guy who does it for nothing.

That was never the plan, but charging would make me look like an asshole and they would probably just look for another sucker at that point.

So you are avoiding to get out of your comfort zone, because you fear the unknown which awaits you yep get used to it and feel more comfortable doing it. do what?

Usually nothing. Rarely I'll start a conversation and chat for a while before letting it die.

Join a sports team/frat/club/acapella/etc. I'm in more clubs than 99% of people on campus, but finding out about parties isn't hard, clubs or not. Since the ratio here is 5:1, parties require you to bring at least 3-4 girls per guy, which is the hard part in the first place. Take advantage of your discussions and smaller classes In my major, the ratio is 3 girls and 50 guys, and all of the girls are already taken by friends of mine. Haven't had an attractive classmate since last year's freshman …

Club ratio is terrible as well, even in the performing arts clubs. Not much curriculum overlap. Don't know anybody in any nearby colleges

House parties only. There are almost no house parties, only really frat parties that require you to bring your own ratio.

What do you do if you are at a college where the ratio is bad enough where a lot of this doesn't apply? ratio: In general, 5:1, but in my major its about 70:1 parties: Require you to bring at least 3:1 ratio, impossible if you don't already know girls. In class sit next to the hottest girl you can spot. - In my major there are no attractive girls, and the handful of girls are already taken Last year, I went from I think february to about may only talking to a handful of girls; who are all curren…

This explains a bit, although I cant believe that the stigma hasnt faded with the growth of technology. As for the last paragraph, I am not really one of "you", just came because askreddit suggested it. Dont know anything about indicators. She is just a friend In my classes that I see a lot, and kind of turned down asking her out a few months ago due to a silly bet. she just broke up with her boyfriend, and is a little out of it. If you can get anything from that be my guest.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
