i'm just saying i would kinda rather die than be in a relationship that most likely isnt gonna last the rest of my life, where i'm expected to pay for most everything even when there's no kids involved, where she's statistically likely to be the one to end it, where i have to quit traveling alone because she thinks i'm up to no good, where i have to know i'm Mr Safe & the guys she complains about i probably have to worry about etc etc

if a company bestows a title on me and throws me a fat check, that says nothing about my character that couldn't already be seen by anyone who was paying attention before then. it's understandable to raise an eyebrow if all of the sudden you're attractive, to someone who coincidentally "dont need no (you)" but hey, muh biology. oh that same biology were supposed to suppress because it makes us see people as objects? that biology?
