1	Looks like hate speech based on a specific gender only applies if the gender is female. How society or an individual chooses to respond to somebody's idea is obviously up to them. Having the right to free speech does not make you immune to criticism. I should clarify that it's entirely within Facebook's rights to remove or not remove whatever they like. I just personally don't think it's good policy because it leads to absurd double standards and selective agenda pushing like this one, especially on such an enormous global medium.	/r/MensRights	26/09/13 08:07 PM
1	Looks like hate speech based on a specific gender only applies if the gender is female. The problem I have with this is that somebody gets to be the arbitrator of what is and is not acceptable. That is way too much power for any person or institution to have. Once you grant somebody the ability to deem a concept "offensive", there's no end to what they can choose to censor or suppress. It really seems like the type of thing where if you stretch hard enough, anybody can define him/herself into being correct. One clarification. 9	Appropriate Behavior in the Workplace? Just want to clarify one thing. I really don't want her getting in trouble. She's a single mom with health issues, and the last thing I would want is for her to lose her job over this. I appreciate the advice and discussion. I think the best course of action would be to let it slide this time and if it happens again I'll just tell her it makes me uncomfortable and would prefer she stop.
