If someone is blinking away your unblocked punches like it’s just a light drizzle then you should probably stop.

Also, police routinely screw up evidence collecting causing a lot of stuff that could convict to be thrown out.

I think I replied to wrong comment.

Her work on aquaman doesn't directly effect him. Now if he was fired from the same movie as her then that's different. I do agree he deserves compensation for lost wages because of what she did. But her work for aquaman isn't involved in this.

You get paid for work done. Continues employment is another thing.

Which is fair no matter how you feel for her. And I dislike her very much.

10% seems pretty significant.

It's all good. So the same should be true if the dude has a kid with another woman and gets left with the kid?

The GOP already muddied the water by considering pregnancy to be a pre-existing condition and not covered under your healthcare. So not a baby until it's born.

My exact thought.

She's a self hating gay woman too. I refuse to believe she isn't.

I understand that too. My point was the poster in my opinion painted a racist image.

Yes, it is. And a high probability that is what they referred to her as. That's why it was in quotation.

Yes, with the boy and older woman being upper-middle class British and the girl being the hired nanny who immigrated from India. This was a very common thing back then.

I don't follow. Looks clearly to me like a mother, nanny, and son. She's even darker skinned with black hair. The older woman and boy are light skin red hair.

I like how she's so stressed she can't be bothered to parent her own kid and has a "paki/Indian" nanny. It was going to be rough!

Yeah, seems like I need to turn gay, marry a successful actor, then divorce him. I'd be set for life!

Yes, but still trying to swindle the dude no doubt.

You could have selected "single mom" then said come at me. But I'm sure that wouldn't be the correct way to go about it.

I agree. I'm not asking about taxing her. I don't think she's doing wrong. I'm complaining about my end of it.

As far as claiming the child lives with and I have no problem with her claiming. My point is I'm ordered to forfeit a certain amount of my pay and she gets both these tax breaks. I'm not at all saying the cs should be taxed. It already is on my end. I'm talking about it feeling like a penalty when I've done nothing wrong and you look at the numbers. I agree fully with paying child support. I gave her more than what I'm ordered to now before we went to court. I'm only complaining about my end of …

No divorce and just low income. I actually fall just shy of 7000 total paid for two kids but one didn't start until around may. So I'll be close to 10k next year. Like I said I have no issues with how the money is being spent. Just asking questions about taxes and wrapping my head around it. She has custody so I have no problem with her claiming. It still seems like I'm penalized for not being a dead beat dad. I pay cs but don't get to claim it against earned wages. She gets it as tax free incom…

I'm not trying to point out any accountability on how it's spent. I think that's too much government involvement. I'm strictly talking about my side of it. It's pay that I forfeit (for good reason) on court/government orders that I'm still taxed on. That's my question.

I'm not trying to tax her. I'm saying it still counts as earned income on my side when it's government ordered that I pay. Let's say I pay 10,000 a year child support. I make 72,000 a year. I'm taxed at 72000 instead of 62,000. At least that how it seems on my paycheck.

Yeah, can't do anything about how it's spent. As long as the kid doesn't go without the basics I don't really care.

I'm not really concerned about who can claim. I have no issue with that. I'm talking about one parent paying the support and the other getting it as tax free in come and gets to claim the child as a deduction. While the payee can't claim the paid support against taxable wages. Seems like double dipping is my point. I'm fine with paying.
