If you're approaching her simply for her phone number, a date or sex instead of simply because you are attracted to her and want to know her. Then your priorities are in the wrong place and she'll pick up on this. You're only in the interaction for your personal gain and offer nothing of value to her. So why would she be interested in someone who isn't really interested in knowing her.

Simplify the approach. Something I had to learn and still learning. Don't go into it thinking about getting a number, date, sex, or other future outcomes. Don't think about what you need to do to make her like you or any "tactics" like teasing, push-pull etc.. Go into it with the intention of possibly making a connection with the girl. Things to think about... Why are you approaching her? What specifically about her did you find attractive? What do you like about her at first glance? What do you…

Well then he needs to work on, doing a more natural efficient approach, that's what he needs to learn. He might need to leave that venue and let it simmer down a bit and try somewhere else for a few weeks. Nothing wrong with doing and practicing cold approach though.

Of course it is. As long as your learning from it and not repeating the same mistakes over and over. It also depends on what you define as "success" and "failure." An "Alpha Chad's" success may be getting laid while a socially anxious person's success might be paying a compliment to someone. It's all about perception

I mean I'd argue they should to improve there social skills and learn to not be anxious, thirsty and desperate. Unfortunately there is no magic switch to make you a person who grew up socially awkward act like a normal person. Only way is by putting yourself in that situation multiple times and facing rejection, being awkward and risk coming across as creepy. Just have to realize when the conversation is over and not take any rejection personally.

And if you fail, learn from it and gain necessary social skills, is it useful? More risk involved in hobbies and social circle than cold approach if you don't have good social skills.

Cold approaching is improving yourself. It's building your social skills. If someone had a magic wand , waved it and had you lose 30 pounds, give you muscles , give you the best clothes, style etc. Immediately and you went out cold approaches. You probably will only be doing slightly better than what your doing now and that would be from shallow women. You'll probably get more looks for sure but if you don't have confidence in your ability as a man, can't flirt, tease, or make a connection. Your …

Disagree it's one of the best ways to go about improving your social/dating skills. There is little to no risk in doing cold approach where as your other examples there are. Especially if you live near a city. Every example you mentioned (assuming by clubs you mean like school clubs and not night clubs) you risk being an outcast if you come across awkward when you don't know how to socially interact with people. Then you have to find another event, party, club etc. And hope you learn your lesson…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
