If that's true, it's really dumb. No kids or really small people can sit there now. We are not all the same size.

This has got to be someone trying to get famous for doing another "brown eyes vs blue eyes" study.

It's easy for you to admit that, sure. But could you say she's a crude and vile person?

You personally knew a woman who waited until she was over 50 years old to decide to have children?

So Women Lie About Rape? Probably some women. But I think the problem is that the people who assemble these statistics are purposefully using flawed and leading survey questions in order to get the answers they want to report.

In that vein, practice letting go of everything. Mentally prepare yourself for the emotions that you will/would feel if you lost Your house Your favorite possession All your possessions All your money Your parent/spouse/child Grieve ahead of time, in your own time, and you'll be MUCH better prepared to handle the inevitable shit that life can throw at you when it does.

Researchers found out that testosterone levels rise on days that couples have sex, and decline on days without sex. Makes you ask though, is it really: "On days that testosterone levels rise, couples have sex."

You do know that OP did not compare Rommel to a little girl, right? He said that little girls have as much determination not to change their mind as Rommel had.

In the winter where I live, the city has to take steps to ensure that the water towers keep filling up with ground water constantly so they don't freeze overnight when no one is using much water. A "cold shower" some mornings here would be 35F water.

Cold showers are going to affect fat loss about as much as adding ice to the water you drink.

After buying an internet-connected scale in June and tracking my weight for about 5 months, I decided that November was the time to not just maintain my weight (a small challenge, nonetheless) but to lose the extra pounds. I'm doing an unsustainable crash diet in November. So far I'm down 7 pounds. I hope to lose another 7 by the end of the month and then taper back to a normal 2 pounds a week. The scale believes that I've lost 1.4% of my body fat, but there's a lot more there.

A sucker punch (American English), also known as a coward punch, one hit punch, king hit (Australian English), or cold-cock (American English), is a punch made without warning, allowing no time for preparation or defense on the part of the recipient. The term is generally used in situations where the way in which the punch has been delivered is considered unfair or unethical. In practice, this often includes punches delivered from behind.

I could watch a loop of this 24/7. I'm sure you would fall asleep at some point before a week was over. Nobody can concentrate for 7 days straight.

I'm on board with that completely, as long as you have your TVs in a room you'll also be in with them so you can point out that this isn't how people actually (should) act. Other people let the kids watch 12 hours of Saturday TV alone in their basement while having a kid-free day. Two sides to every story, and you make a good point.

I'm younger than you, but my two boys are early teens. My best little bit of advice is to literally throw out your TV. The last thing kids need is to be learning life lessons from the writers and directors in Hollywoodland. Keep the internet connection, but lock down the router with Open DNS until they are the age you would be OK with them finding Hustler magazines. Subscribe them to some YouTube channels with the kid app and give them their own Netflix queue, preapproved by you.

Yes. I'm just talking about some mid range dining room type of place where the cheapest menu item is a $10 burger, but I could opt for a $35 steak there too. Possible outcomes in this place, with two of us dining are a $22 check for two burgers with water, or a $135 check for two filets, a bottle of wine and two desserts.

To be fair, most male wait staff think that the amount they deserve from me is proportional to the price I pay for my meal, but they visit me the same amount of times whether I have filet and wine or burger and water.

Golden Goose or stepping stone. Put him on display, start an income stream and advertise virally. Buy one of his old homes or some other site where he did things, move the show there. Get a movie deal or reality show, etc.

According to the authors, Burton and Hammond hatched their plan to display Manson’s corpse about two years ago. Initially, the duo asked Manson to sign a document that would let them take his body when he dies. “He didn’t give them a yes, he didn’t give them a no. He sort of strung them along,” Simone said. Burton and Hammond regularly brought Manson toiletries and other items. Stringing them along kept the goodies coming, Simone said. When it became clear last year that the purportedly death-pr…

Did anyone else notice that dad lost his job 3 months ago, but, apparently out of the blue, mom got herself a job a year ago? Seems like this unemployment was a convenient excuse for something she was already deciding beforehand.

This is a fun question to play "what-if" to. What if it was a delicious homemade soup with a different hot homemade bread to go with it every night? What if she was spending much more than an hour taking care of things for you? What if the rest of her day she was busy raising two boys to keep your time free for your work? Breakfast, packed lunches, getting them dressed in clean clothes she washed, off to the busses on time, music lessons, homework, holiday classroom parties (with snacks she made…
