Except it doesn't take long to figure out when you're getting messages from fake accounts. Most have a very easy to spot naming format or other similar giveaways. It's why I seriously doubt that PoF or Tinder give much of a shit about stopping them.

Apparently the secret here is move on. Shrug. If you're interested, answer. If they ghost you because you're communicative, then you dodged a bullet. Ain't nobody got time for playing games bro.

Yet they also get all pissed off when you don't respond to texts fast enough. This isn't a healthy habit and if people stopped responding to it, the bullshit would die. Interested is good. Creating false stress tests for someone who's interested denotes an unhealthy level of manipulation right from the get go.

Yep, just did the same exact thing! Instant shift from, "Umm okay? How should one approach then?" to "Oh. Oh good God, no. Creepy fucking asshole."

Yep, I've seen this same gig. Knew it was a scam, coerced her into showing at least her boobs before I let it unfold. Then asked where I should send money. Can't remember the answer exactly anymore, but I do remember it was a church of all places. They disconnected when I said that the FBI would appreciate the information. Lol. What do you know, no video showed up anywhere either. If anyone actually cares, here's a link to the FBI reporting page for internet scams. https://www.ic3.gov/default.as…

Honestly, I'd prefer this over some bullshit fake, "Oh, umm, I have a boyfriend," when she doesn't. Just gotta give her a smile, say that you appreciate her being so straightforward and move on. Never know, sometimes when you take it like a champ, they notice and things could change in future.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
