Yes! I agree. Women do suffer from this too. Some women have a hard time being sexually attracted to men they respect or feel ashamed of being sexual once they become a mother or a wife. I have a friend that is a woman who only enjoys sex when it’s impersonal and with guys she doesn’t have to talk to or see once it’s over.

New to reddit and I don’t know what this means.

I’m still trying to figure this part out. But I think it would take for women to let their guards down and trust that they can rely on the men in their lives. And in order for women to do this, men need to do a better job at being reliable.

Men need to feel needed for more than just companionship, but women don’t really need men for more than companionship anymore.

If their first sexual experience was with a man, it typically makes them view men sexually. But it does depend on the child and how long the abuse lasted etc.

Worded perfectly! I’ve been trying to explain this to people for years, but couldn’t find the words to articulate what I was trying to say. I feel like I don’t have a traditionally beautiful appearance, but people often find me attractive. I always felt like it’s because of my mannerisms, and facial expressions etc. But you described it perfectly. Sometimes people have subtle subtext that make them attractive, even if they aren’t traditionally beautiful.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
