And one becomes a Chad by not giving a fuck, am I right?

You can't project a six pack, but you can be confident or a social star. That also helps a lot is his point. But you don't have to believe it. Go on with your daily masturbation activities sir.

Ok true that. You convinced me, real life = better than tv shows, for educational/life improvement goals.

You can randomly apply that to every subject ever. Ergo, see the rest of my previous comment.

You make the assumption I don't know anything about the 60's (or that all I know is from TV shows, and that information from TV is a priori invalid). If you reason like that you can't assume anything at all (I mean, who can you trust?). In this life it's more practical to make assumptions by using what you hear and see and feel, logically think about it, and conclude (make 'safe' assumptions'), INSTEAD of not making any assumptions at all. ...Scientifically? Well that's another story. But we got…

I think Mad Men tries to sketch a realistic view on life in the office in the 60's (besides their evil hollywood goals, it actually does a good job). I think if people would write down their lives, life would definitely appear to have a subjective plot. Maybe not as high lighted as in a show like Mad Men, but still. Anyway, thanks for your opinion and this discussion. Always nice to see things from another point of view.

So the circumstances are: Women want a strong alpha male for good genes, but a nice nurturing guy for taking care of their children. Now take the average male. How does he profits from this knowledge?

Indeed, I edited my comment. I understand that the whole goal of RP is to get realistic and that BP is the same as letting yourself being controlled by 'mind control media'. But, am I wrong to discuss the black & white stance towards fiction? Reality is the most realest. That's true. But that doesn't mean that fiction could NOT be a good substitute for reality. Of course it would always lack (this HEAVILY depends on what fiction, if not Disney's Cars = Breaking Bad), but why avoid it completely?…

Lol you frame being an asshole as a realistic hero who cuts the crap and 'wonderful little feelings' and just brings it as it is. Nope, I don't think that is happening right now. Let me take the high road and explain you why: You have a strong believe that hollywood does 'everything' to mislead people. In fact you and the RP community are right, it happens a lot. But, I think you are missing the nuance in this. You can't simplify such a industry to 1 thing. That's saying that both Snow White (pr…

Btw to clarify myself, I asked you what's wrong with mad men. You assume I'm stupid because you already said all of hollywood = lies. I don't believe that statement, since that's an extreme statement. So I'm asking you to clarify which part of mad men are false believes, thrown at the audience.

Well reality can appear fluid, so if you do your best you can shuffle words to make everything you do sound good. Why shame me when you can just answer, check link X on the sidebar or ignore if you don't bother. Instead you use your time to shame me and reassure your self proclaimed RP status in your believe system. In my opinion that makes you an asshole. Why do I say this? Because I'm mad. Just like you. I should actually say: you are good enough as you are. Start loving yourself.

Thanks, I think this is a great observation. So how does one become truly RP?
/r/TheRedPill16/08/17 12:39 AM

That may be true, but does that mean that the show distorts reality in such a way, that the situations are useless to learn from? And if so do you have examples why? I only watched season 1 so I have no idea what you describe in your last paragraph. /shrugs?

I agree. Actually, I think that fits every kind of service being handed to us in this world. Gasoline costs money. Therapy costs money. Educational courses cost money. I also agree a lot of persons like the show because it can be funny and because of the strong male role models/hot girls/sexy scenes. But I can't see your overall point: You say a show is more likely to distort reality, to meet their financial goals. On the other hand, does it distort reality that much that you can't learn from it…

So the premise is basically being rude to newcomers to feel superior? Hope not because that would be sad.
/r/TheRedPill16/08/17 12:24 AM

So basically, the goal of the show is to convince people to have sympathy for evil male patriarchists? Or at least, in that scene?

So where can I find some good quality red pill material? How to master the knowledge? Bonus question: what wrong idea's are ecxactly being teached in a show like Mad Men?

Thanks, nice post. I actually like the last part you describe. I like to learn from the business etiquette and relationships/sub communication in the show. Who would you rather see as an example for RP? Maybe, do you have a post or article about the very essence of RP?

So if I understand you right, looks isn't the same as high class and vice versa. I wonder, how to determine what status a girl is? And how does this relate in the conversation? Are there different rules in communication depending on the statuses of a girl? Is applying these rules the same as holding the frame of high status?

Thanks for your response. I think you mean he was violating some rules of 'politeness', (or what else do you mean by the 'rules'?) but only after he established hisself as more approachable (after excusing, apologizing etc.). From there one the battle of frame between Don and Rachel continued and he tried to find her motives for being so determined (as a women)/unreasonable (in his opinion) by asking the personal question. So I disagree that it was all about fucking. Of course it played a role, …

No I didn't, I'm at episode 10 of season 1. Should I read your post or too much spoilers..?

Thank you. This makes it a bit more clear and put's things in perspective. I agree that at the end, it's all about frame (but also your experience, since that makes your frame stronger. A moron with confidence isn't the same as a genius with confidence, as you pointed out already). I just figured out I posted the wrong link to the scene. Where it gets interesting is exactly where the video I posted stopped. This video goes on with her response to Don saying: "I'm living like there is no tomorrow…

Sleep is very important to feel good. I would try to get a day job, sleep 8-9 hours at night, nofap, eat well and work out. You will notice the difference after 1-3 weeks.

Are you succesful with women?

I actually notice the difference from working out and not working out. Do you sleep and eat properly besides it? Also you never feel good directly after a work out. It's a subtle effect that fades in and lasts a day or two (more awake, positive, good mood)

Great post, you said it clear and right. I wonder, what is your advice for men that have a higher voice than average? My problem is, when I'm uncomfortable my voice get's even higher. I often tried to mask this by artificially talking with a lower voice, which emphasizes the lower tones in my voice, but makes my intonation weird and my words hard to hear (it's a bit like mumbling). It seems like this automatically happens when my frame is weak. Whenever I'm feeling comfortable/solid frame I worr…

It will give you more energy, motivation and masculinity. This has to do with maintaining your sexual energy instead of wasting it. On the long term it will make your senses more sensitive, balance your emotions, and make your mind more clear and focused. This has to do with dopamine sensitivity, and is something drug addicts experience as well when they stop their addiction.

Try NoFap. Be serious about it and give it time. A few years can do a lot of good.

However, Just Be Yourself encourages guys to unload all of their stories, baggage, and whining on the first date, killing any mystery and attraction that the woman may have felt. No, this is "Show the girl that you are being yourself". Not the same thing. Being yourself is doing what you like to do and accepting the feelings you have. Yes, you can be shy with women but trying to mask this won't work. Best is to just be shy or nice (adjusting yourself to her qualifications) but aproach anyway. Go…

You are doing good (better), but your view is a bit unbalanced. Although it's true that women are often biased in their choices of partners, attraction doesn't mean emphaty. Attraction = want to procreate. Again, emphaty = not attraction. Emphaty = when someone feels sorry for you when you get in an accident or something. Many women would feel that way, but you can't link that to attraction. 2 different things.

Thank you for your response. I was not referring to manipulating or exploiting women for sex. I think in regard to starting a relationship the points you give are great tips and would really help to estabelish this (real connection). I think that besides of that, there are also 'sexual flings'. I'm not talking about the scenario where a girl thinks she have found the man of her life, only to be used for an one night stand and never be called back again (which is what a lot of guys do and girls h…

Thanks for your blog and effort! Since you are asking, I am (obviously) very interested in your social theory in context of 'seduction' of women. In the past few years I heard a lot of strategies to achieve this, but in the end all theories are referring to one of these two approaches: play attractive to get the girl (which means apply: law of least effort, 'alpha male' behavior, adjusting politeness, forcing flirtation etc) or just be yourself and let your natural behavior lead you towards her …
