–	How to approach girls in a country where normal "hi", "hello", "you look beautiful today", "you have pretty eyes", etc don't work? You could use the classic “hi I don’t believe I met you yet!” This implies your important and people want to meet you Or based on your surroundings you could ask for directions to a place to eat the bathroom etc just to get a foot in the door.
