Document every instance of this, down to the exact place and time. Ask as many coworkers as you can to do the same. Research, research, research your rights and the company’s responsibilities to provide you with a safe working environment. At a former workplace of mine, all female employees were harassed by one male and once we started speaking up, we were shot down and most of us had to quit. I was targeted with most of the harassment and the male managers told the harasser that I spoke up, and…

THIS too, my ex-boyfriend was obsessed with making me cum but in my case it never happened because it mostly consisted of rough fingering and he wouldn’t take any advice (come to think of it my ex-husband also did the same thing). But I thought we needed to CoMmUnIcAtE, so I gave him lots of chances even though he’d criticize or doubt what I’d tell him would make it happen. He acted like me orgasming was all about him and not me though so it never happened. Even the couple times I got close I wo…

He was unattractive and always triangulated me with stories about his female coworkers flirting with him, women in porn he liked, etc. so this is very fitting 💀

It was first explained to me on this sub, someone posted an article about like 10 signs that it’s happening to you or something that was really helpful to me. It’s a red pill tactic where they intentionally do things to increase a woman’s anxiety levels to make her think that you may leave her at any time or are cheating on her, but obviously they can’t do it in a super obvious way — it’s more subtle and usually paired with enough affection that it makes the woman feel crazy for being anxious. S…

I seriously started to believe I had a personality disorder while with my ex-husband and looking back at his abuse I realize it was the insane roller coaster/abuse cycle he had me stuck in, coupled with intense depression and the love bombing when I’d reach my wits end. My next boyfriend made me think I had extreme attachment and insecurity issues and would constantly gaslight me about how his behavior made me feel (I later heard about “dread gaming” and recognized exactly what he had been putti…

From my own experience with marriage and also listening to the complaints of my married female friends, I hate hearing this “I know he cares though” or “I know he loves me, but..” NO. Full stop. If he’ll do anything but what he knows matters most to you, or hell, even something small that he knows you want.... then he doesn’t care. He doesn’t love you. At least not how you deserve to be loved. We as women need to start standing up for what we want and need in a relationship instead of making exc…

I grew up being called fat relentlessly by nearly every peer my age, including boys I liked. It destroyed my self image when I was never overweight to begin with. I thought I was fat as young as five years old! Now the way my body is shaped is a fashion trend. I love myself including my body regardless now, but seeing “thick” and “booty gains” put on a pedestal by the same people who made me feel disgusting and hate myself for how I looked when it wasn’t in style.... yeah. They can have their ri…

On this day last year I was crying alone because my boyfriend at the time didn’t do anything for me and said that “next time it will be special.” Yes it is silly boy because now you’re not here!✨

You’re not alone. My ex’s thing was “training you to be my own personal fuck doll” and he would also hit me during sex. I’m sorry you had to experience that too. Nobody deserves to be dehumanized and abused and I’m glad we’re both in a better place now. This is clearly pointing to a mass problem in society and the fact that we’re not accepting it anymore gives me hope!❤️

I was just about to say, this shit sounds exactly stuff that my ex-boyfriend used to say (I’m too embarrassed to repeat any of it now because I can’t believe what I allowed) and he admitted that he had watched porn since he was “a kid” in his words. It changes them. They can’t view sex as intimacy anymore.

Yes, this!! I have a not amazing job right now because I’m also in grad school and need something flexible, but it is a job in my field. And I could still buy this shit (it’s not even appealing at all though?) with one day’s worth of work then take myself out for dinner! I’m not even in tech, I’m in the humanities. My ex actually did not have any social media, at least not the kind you’d normally think of... turns out he used multiple Reddit accounts that he’d use to post on dating subreddits and look at porn though.... even while we were together... he went through about 10+ throwaways that I know of for this. So while at first I thought it made him look mature to “not use social media” because my previous ex would look at Instagram models all the time, it turns out this guy was even worse but just better…

So whereas FDS is all about leveling up as a person and loving yourself (for YOU!), this male strategy has absolutely nothing to do with self-improvement but just projecting an image, covering up all your bullshit without actually changing, and embracing those good old double standards🤣 NEXT! Also when he says that a woman who has ever dyed her hair is a sign of SHITTY MENTAL HEALTH💀

You know this isn’t going anywhere you really want it to. Don’t make the same mistake I did and drag it out, no matter how much he says he’s “trying.” He needs to learn how to get better on his own while you cut your losses and go live your own whole ass fabulous life without mothering a grown man!!

These men are so entitled. I blocked one (after talking to him for less than TWO DAYS and he had started making gross sexual comments) and he freaked out and started harassing one of my friends because he believed I owed him an explanation. “I’d rather she just tell me if she doesn’t want to.” Hell NO, I told you everything you need to know with the block button 🙄

I’m going to do my makeup full glam, buy myself my favorite dark chocolate truffles, and end the day with a nice face mask and bath! Will probably light candles too. I’m also planning to buy flowers for and make treats for my mom. Just things that make me feel amazing and pampered and remind the women in my life that they’re cherished and loved.

Absolutely- and one of the scary things is how much allowing this behavior from men costs women. Financially, emotionally, mentally, physically. My ex even let me fly to him after I lost my job (he makes more than I did, too) and promised to pay me back (why I felt okay going....) but never did. And I’d argue all the anxiety he caused me cost even more in a way. Expecting more from our relationships saves lives 👏
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/01/21 04:02 AM

You: my ex let me spend my money to fly to him frequently and never mentioned or offered to do the same thing for me, he also expected me to solve his problems for him Me: she dated my ex I know that gets thrown around a lot here but HOT DAMN it’s bizarre how similar these LVM be

Yes, this makes a lot of sense. Both of my exes were abusive (physically, mentally, emotionally) and spouted “female privilege” bullshit and massive victim mentalities. I could elaborate but it speaks for itself. Their entire worlds revolved around their self-pity and self-hatred and it deluded them into thinking so many warped ideas about gender and relationships as well as a violent and manipulative sense of entitlement towards women. If there is an unfortunate woman in the lives of men like t…

“You may not realize it, but you’re living my dream life.” A wonderful, ambitious woman who is a few years younger than I said this to me and it made me tear up. I’ve been abused, used, and heartbroken by NVM and struggle with PTSD, but hearing that reminded me I still have my accomplishments (grad school, have worked abroad, fortunate enough to travel with money I earned), my family, things I love and people who love me. Also, it was a reality check: there are girls who look up to me. Not only …

Oh absolutely!! Most of us are here cause we’ve had those days! I get angry for my past self thinking about the shit like that I used to accept as love when I really, really just wanted affection. I was with this guy for over a year and his love bombing mind games had me messed up in the head. So glad both of us know better!! We may be blessed with these curves💅but no attention is better than that LVM kinda attention🤢

I actually found FDS while I was searching the internet for answers to some problems he was giving me (as in nothing but problems). He said many messed up things, with this being one of the tamer ones. I was gaslit to hell and back over them and fortunately FDS validated the misgivings and uneasy gut feelings I had always had about trying to be the “cool” girlfriend, and it took a while but I finally stopped putting up with it! I’ll never let a man degrade me in a relationship like that again.

And on the flip side, this may or may not be purely coincidental but HVM tend to adore cats! Or at least are secure enough to not find any shame in liking something with a feminine connotation like that. My dad, for example, is the foremost example of a HVM in my life and he is the biggest cat person I know. He has a cat he absolutely worships and buys special treats for her (the only kind she likes) in bulk, always makes sure she has only the best food, toys, and places to sleep, and used to bu…

Yes! I think my ex bought me maybe two pieces of jewelry in the years we were married and they were 1. Not me at all and 2. Completely thoughtless. I take Vital Proteins collagen peptides mixed into my coffee or tea every day! It’s a powder. In the past I’ve also taken the Youtheory collagen capsules. Obviously not vegan but for people who are vegan I’d recommend keeping up on the vitamin c which helps your body produce its own collagen.

Okay ladies you asked and I’m here!! To be honest, I don’t have a solid hand care routine. I mostly focus on keeping the skin, nails, and cuticles healthy and moisturized enough so that they won’t need much extra care in the first place. But this is what I’ve been doing: Moisturize regularly, even when my hands don’t feel dry. I use thick hand creams and body lotion even if my skin isn’t cracked. I like ingredients like Shea butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, things that contain vitamin E. I…

I got it from Moon Magic jewelry because of an ad I saw on instagram while they had a sale! I liked their selection because you can get higher end pieces made of solid gold or much more budget friendly options with gold vermeil. They also donate to charity for every piece of jewelry sold and at least on their website emphasize empowering women. I’ve had the ring for a couple months and am impressed with the quality so far. Funny story, I actually lied to him about that - I might have been naive about relationships and fuckboys back then but I’ve always known when men are asking stupid questions and deserve to be fucked with. So he spent our whole relationship telling me how perfect my C’s are and how it’s his “ideal cup size” and blah blah blah when that’s not even my size. Still get a chuckle out of that!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/12/20 10:01 PM

“What’s the kinkiest thing you’ve ever done?” “Cup size?” From my ex-boyfriend, when we were in the “talking phase” and I hadn’t found FDS yet and was so naive I had no idea this boy was about to waste my time for over a whole damn year. One of our first conversations was him asking to play 21 questions 🤡

Throw yourself into your hobbies, career goals, and personal aspirations. Focus on the things that YOU love with all that time you’ve been spending on OLD. Remind yourself that the “HVM” from tinder definitely was not a HVM and there’s no way to tell after one date! You likely dodged a bullet. Sometimes I toy with the idea of using dating apps but I know that the time is much better spent on myself, my friends, and my loved ones. I have this really clear memory of being about 10 or 11 and playing with my best friend and her little sister. We were talking about growing boobs or something when somehow the topic of rape came up (because young girls are so “mature,” ie forced to become aware of harsh realities at a young age). I had heard somewhere that one in three women will be raped in their lifetime and I remember telling them that and us all looking at each other in silence with this sense of dread. Yes, we were all in …
