I don't know where you live, but if a girl is willing to go to your apartment at night for whatever reason, then it's pretty much already clinched. Also I physically cringed at the fact that you replied "you're hot". Were you trying to be funny? That's pure cringe in that situation.

It's super annoying at the very bare minimum. How would you feel if you're in the middle of a meeting at work, and some gay dude walked in, asked for your number and started hitting on you? Obviously you can say you'll calmly tell him to leave and "no harm done", but it's just cringy and distasteful. Your arguments are just attacking a strawman.

I cringed pretty hard. Also hitting on people at work is kind of distasteful and predatory since they have to think twice about rejecting you in case you get mad and talk to their manager not to mention they're probably next to their coworkers who they have to see every day.
