That just makes them hypocrites, and I'd argue there is more of an expectation to encounter hypocrisy in that sub than open discussion. Regardless, it's still better than r/politics at the moment.

Perhaps the issue is sticking to an outdated definition. I don't think it's a US/UK thing, just that feminism in practice no longer matches up with that description at all. English is a living language, it sounds to me like your dictionary just needs a more relevant definition.

Seen this before and if I recall correctly, the husband actually stood up for her at trial and requested leniency from the judge. Fuck that guy, he deserves her.

Might not be getting paid. She is currently just on leave but apparently the hospital has removed every trace of her from their website. Mentions of her name, pictures, everything....they are clearly cutting ties. Also, she was in residency, not a full Doctor, so she would need to get accepted to another program to become a doctor. They are extremely competitive and hard to get as it is, after being kicked out of one program it is extremely unlikely she gets another shot. She's likely looking at…

I agree with you in spirit but that comment on libel makes you sound like you don't know what you are talking about. For it to be libel it has to be published, and she clearly did not print these accusations in a newspaper or similar media.
