Man, that sounds so cool! You get to know new people, help them, which opens the door of their social circle, which gives you an opportunity to meet new people. You are validated in the eyes of others due to a real reason. All of that sounds so positive and genuine. I want to be like that. I always wondered how people are having free entries or drinks without working there or being famous. Which leads me to the question: how did you do that? How can a stranger at the venue possibly help the staf…

Good job dude! You've got me motivated for tomorrow as I didn't have any action today, I also went by myself (as I do most of the time). I need to try this mysteriously successful "hi" line, I was always thinking that I need to start with something intelligent/humorous, but I rarely come up with something like this, and miss many opportunities. Congrats again!

One caveat to this, in my experience, there are at most semi-attractive girls left when club ends, all attractive ones are already taken home. But besides, I agree on just having fun with the bois (or alone!). If you're not gonna get action then at least you had a good time

Yup, that is so human. We are so emotional, and even when we feel like we could click with another person, sometimes the fears will come in the way. Be aware of that and move on.

Gf broke up with me after 5 years of relationship (there was not a 'feeling' anymore, it became dead). I was always shy before adulthood. My ex was my first attempt to approach a girl, and it was successful, so I haven't proven to myself that I am attractive to women. My looks are quite good, I have good height, but the conversation game, reading social cues and signals is what I lack. So I came here to learn that.

You have not missed best years of your life. The best life is an adult life where you earn money and are free to do whatever you want, and that's ahead of you. Also, I know it may sound like easier said than done, but don't be much bothered about these stories of your friends. Men love these kind of stories, and I think they are either made up, or they are true, but in that case you can ask for advice from your friends on how did they do that or sth. Everyone can see that you reached the point o…

As for putting my 2 cents here, I realised that people (myself included) assign too much value to a person that they like, think that this person or experience is invaluable and unique. The thing is, there is so many people on this planet that it is highly likely that you will meet at least one interesting/pretty/smart person, possibly even better than the previous one. I know OP that you shook off from the situation, just wanted to add food for thought.

Ah, forgot about car, that's also a good alternative. But then I'll need to control my drinking

Ahh, I see. I live with my parents right now, so I prefer going to her place. After she agrees to go out of the club, would saying "I think we should go to your place, mine is too far from here?" be okay? Or would you suggest something else? (Besides renting a flat of course)

I don't like this comment since I lost a girlfriend to a 32 year old guy. (I'm 23, she is 23). It's not like our relationship wasn't shitty, but I didn't have time to repair it because of him. But it's good that it happened. She was "time consuming" so to speak and now I have time to try new hobbies and have fun with friends. Maybe when I'll be 32, I will steal someone's girl, who knows.

I will only leave a quote from book "Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron: "- But do you know how old I will be by the time I learn to really play the piano / act / paint / write a decent play?" - Yes . . . the same age you will be if you don't."

Whoa, I think this is very informative. Do you think working at bars and clubs and observing people's "game" is a good way to step up my own?

There are memes about people thanking random Indian guy from YouTube for their education, and another Indian guy, this time on Reddit, is educating us on the dating game. Thank you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
